It charges you by automatically topping up - and forces you to use your card number with an account balance minimum top up. Charged 20 euro for a 4 euro parking charge. Very sneaky - terrible experience. Not even about the money - but would NEVER trust this company for this type of practice. Also has ads within the payment process. Extremely unintuitive and —————- a note to the company: Change to feature Apple Pay instead - and maybe if you value long term growth, build an actual good user experience - and not sneaky quick cash collections.

I never write reviews but this app is so bad. My first time using this app I realized that I was parking in the wrong place after I paid for parking so I paid them more for a different zone and it has no on screen display message that states that parking is active so I assumed I didn’t get charged I pay more until I realize that 30 euro has been charged from my bank and I have 11 euro account balance. There is no option to cancel parking tickets and customer service didn’t even do much other than ask me to call them even though I don’t have the time for that because of my busy schedule. I deleted the app after this incident and after a week I see that 2.40 euro has been taken from my card by this company even though I don’t use the app anymore. Horrible app horrible company.

As it’s very handy, I can’t log into my account for the last three days since you changed your website so it’s not good anymore for me and the support has been quite poor. Nobody has returned my email that I wrote to them yesterday. Mind you I did get my invoice for last month.

I can open the app and then it freezes. Can’t swipe to choose my car and cannot access other areas of the app. Ordinarily would give five stars but now I have to find coins for the machine instead so you’re only getting one. Will make it five when the bugs are gone.

I do not recommend registering for this app. They make you feel like you have to in order to park and then through recurring top ups and monthly fees they will charge you. I only wanted to park on a once off and now have spent €20 and getting charged 0.99 a month. Once off payments are apparently possible but they do not make this plain and obvious on the app.

I use parking tag ALL THE TIME and really thought it was one of the best things ever. Today, I was notified that the app is upgraded to a new face or feature. Just like that, I can’t use the app anymore. I deleted the app on my phone and re-downloaded — not working. I switched off my phone — not working. I am very disappointed. I am still by the roadside as I am typing this; definitely late for my meeting and I don’t have coins because I always thought parking tag is going to be reliable. I guessed wrong.

An awful app but we’re stuck with it if we want the benefits of mobile, parking etc.
 in one of the fields it says 
Payment Successful 16.10 26/10 Bank declined 
Which I eventually figured it was at 4:10pm on the 26th of October. However I did not figure out how the payment was successful if my bank declined. Just so bad and confusing and I won’t be surprised if there is a clamp in the car by the time I got all the payment setup.

It is very handy to pay for parking through an app anywhere around Dublin, but the fact that I have to setup monthly payment with minimum of 10 and I don’t spend that much is ridiculous. The alternative is to manually type the payment details every time I want to pay. Please fix that.
