PDF Summarizer

Tried to upload two different PDFs but nothing happened.

I’ve used this to summarize books in PDF and screenplays. It’s amazing.

ChatGPT, Bard and other LLM AI tools are still fairly new. This App is a good 1.0 (or perhaps beta) version of what a great PDF Summarizer will be with a lot more refinement. - The basic functionality is good, with it working like it should, and generating summaries of PDFs. The "little" versus "full" summary option is a bit of a guess for the user, however, since sometimes a little summary can be pages long and a full summary be a paragraph (of an equal-size document). - If you ignore that quirk and just use it for what it helps you do: summarize a document so you can read it quicker than a speed reader on a Sunday afternoon, then this works perfectly. I have countless numbers of PDF books I really want to read, but I just don't have the time. It's ok for me to know their main thesis and read a 5 minute summary instead of using 5 hours of time to read a book.. it depends on the book of course, and I enjoy reading as a hobby, but many books are also "over-authored" and repetitive.. summarization tools let us get around that problem. - I'd recommend to the developer to lighten up a little on the subscription cost until the UI is a little bit cleaner, there's a bit more control over the functionality, etc and I think they'll have a HUGE audience for this app. In the meantime I'm paying the subscription because I want the functionality so I'm OK looking past the 'unfinished' look to the app itself and just basically using it as a PDF Summarizer. It works great - just needs a lot more polishing, and I can't wait to see what happens to it in future iterations. If you need a PDF summarizer for large documents, right now, this is the best choice. Most Summarizers die around 10 mb files and this one seems like it chunks it better so that it's able to digest much bigger PDFs.

There is no help. You have to pay. You have ZERO control over how much output or what kind of output you'll get. And the output is completely unusable as it is just text on a screen. You can't save it. You can't print it. You can only take a screenshot - of text. Useless. BUT - in several cases, it has generated more accurate/useful summaries than other AI. But it's fickle. One day it's a one-paragraph, the next it takes 10 minutes to summarize every page with a paragraph.

It forced me to pay and then I tried to upload my document and it said it was completed but there was no output.
