Petal Card

Bad company, they charge $8 a month for membership fees without properly telling/letting you know. Bad customer service, and they trick you into thinking that you can upgrade to there Petal plus card!

Was a good card for a few years when I was rebuilding credit but they decided to tack on the fee all of a sudden. It’s a low value card so I closed it. The app needing updating every darn day was annoying too. It’s served its purpose and now I don’t need it. Good riddance.

Had this card for a while now have always been extremely responsible with it so I can’t talk about their fees or interest. One thing I will say is the app is extremely easy to use and understand. The main issue I have with the card is once you hit their final rewards point there are no further credit increases or cash back incentives to make me want to use this card on a day to day. I keep the account open but I wish they offered more to credit users with a good history and score is all. Highly recommend for new credit users tho.

So slow it feels like a scam but it’s not it’s just awful. It can seriously take a week or more to update your account after a payment is made. I’ve never seen a card take longer. Oh and they down graded me after years of paying on time and never missing. Pretty awful card

Ive had a credit line with this company for a few years, the only reason i have one with them is because they were the only cc company to accept my application considering i was young and had no established credit. It was fine when i paid on time until i lost my job and my financial/ living situations changed and I couldn’t keep up with the payments. The interest on this card is HIGH at 33% and they dont allow bank transfers or give credit limit increases. If your payment bounces from your bank and you pay a day late they charge $30 fee no remorse. They offer NO FORGIVENESS whatsoever and I was declined for a credit limit increase so i can pay it off and not have so much interest even though i have a good history of my account paying on time and in full. they are charging me almost $45 a month in interest and that’s nearly half of what i can afford to pay every month. this company only cares about money and is a scam to get people with no credit to work with them so they can make money off of them with high interest. After i pay it off closing my account. my other credit lines dont do this. Literally go to any other place to get a credit card!

Doesn’t approve you just basically waste your time don’t recommend this

This is a very innovative card and I love it!!

Sudden change to most users who signed up for this card to build credit by starting to charge an annual fee. Now, many users had to cancel this card and their credit score took a hit because of it. This card isn’t worth getting now at all. Petal is a card of the past and the business will likely go bankrupt.

They will flag your card for suspicious activity after you pay your balance in full without letting them get their interest charge and then not get back to you in a timely fashion. Their customer service is no help at all

I have stopped receiving notifications from my petal app. I have turned on all notifications and still do not receive them!
