I’ve used this app for years because I’m most familiar with it. And I truly appreciate it. BUT why when I save is the quality so severely diminished? It’s set to save as jpeg, not high efficiency. Yet, everything is always blurry!? Oh, and not having undo reminds me of the early 1990s when I was little: computers were new and undo was unheard of. I would’ve thought 30 years later undo was a given. Lolol But again, thanks for a free app that allows you to upload your own fonts. That’s a plus!

I have been using this app since 2021 and it is just amazing it’s not super advanced but I really think it is great. I love making wallpapers and signs and sometimes movie titles. It helps me make my book covers and I love it.

I love movies and I like making movie logos. I’ve been using this app since 2020, and I have to say I’ve learnt a lot of good tricks using it. I know it’s not an advanced app like Adobe Photoshop where you can add more special effects but for what it’s worth, you can add your own fonts and use them and great creative with making logos and other types of art projects! I recommend this app a lot.

App definitely has improved. Still needs some extra stuff to it - but workable.

I love this app and I use it all the time for making quick graphics. It would have 5* if it had 2 features. 1. Undo 2. Layers. The app gets a bit frustrating if you want to combine multiple objects and one gets lost under the other and you have to reshuffle them to get what you want.

I never write reviews for apps but this one is deserving of a good review. I’ve had this app since I got my first phone maybe 10 years ago. This is hands down the simplest and best app to add text to photos. Straightforward and no complexity about the process. You insert a photo and add your text. It’s that simple. The app includes a ton of different fonts for you to use, but you can import your own fonts into the app so the possibilities are endless. As an artist and graphic designer, I’ve used this app extensively for commissions and personal use. I recently designed a basketball pool sheet and used Phonto to add text. I also noticed that even after adding 70+ elements of text, the app wasn’t laggy or taking a long time. It’s super simple and works extremely well for any of your needs.
