Unlocking new plants is a nightmare. Zombie leveling is also a nightmare. You can’t replay old levels for coins and XP. Popcap want’s to force us to pay money to unlock plants… -- SirSheep, 2026-04-19 ### ****- "A pretty good game but needs adjustments" So Pvz 3 was a good twist on the original Pvz mechanics, but it’s not perfect, I like the idea of combining plants to make new ones, but some plants forms are just a little bad designed, like baby Bok choy, or spike weed, and spikeweed needs improvements, like making its final evolution iron spikeweed, and reverting it back to its original design, instead of this fat moldy bread, and speaking of final evolutions, I don’t prefer the final evolution designs, they look a bit just mushed together, and one idea I have for sunflower final evolution, is just making it a triple sunflower instead of baby normal and grandpa variants, but also the evo lightning rod is very cool and well designed, but for normal lightning rod please make it have thin, happy eyebrows, and for the currency, please don’t do any irl money involved, as it ruins the fun of the game, shown by Pvz2s premium plants, and please remove power ups, and make more of the original plants back in this design but try to stay true to their original design, and add more lawnmowers and have crazy Dave’s shop come back so that you can buy some evos from there, and an idea I have for this game is bring over the Pvz heroes plants and zombies to add them into this game, and like the hero plants helping you in bossfight against the zombie heroes, and add like different places, like bring the roof back, or the pool, or make it so that it’s snowing and most ice plants appear in that place and fire plants during the summer, or switch them around and have fire plants during the winter and ice plants during the summer, so overall, a pretty good game, I hope that you guys can add these adjustments into the game to bring back the original feeling of plants vs zombies, good luck popcap! -- Gengar lover, 2026-04-15 ### ****- "Good but way too hard on chapter two" I would give this game a 5 star but the game is kinda way to hard in a way when you get to the chapter two part of the game it kinda cock blocks you in a way basically it forces you to level your plants above level 4 which is way way too hard due to the grind plus there are no quest you can do to unlock plant seeds which are needed to unlock better fusions such as electric pea needing not only pea shooter seeds but electric plant seeds to even unlock now yeah I do like how some zombies have elements that can be counted with a element but it’s too much of a grind so EA if you do see this please make it where you can get plant seeds easer or at least lower the amount needed to boost level cap and unlock able plants because this game needs to be the best. -- Omega the anvil YT ALT, 2026-04-13 ### **--- "Progress is way too slow" In the previous beta, we used to get fusions and plants just for completing levels. In my opinion, this restricts the plant builds too much and makes the game quite ‘pay-to-win’. Especially that getting seeds are quite rare when not trying to spend money.
