I am getting people from everywhere except where I live. With the new stupid update I notice you cannot have distance preferences or any preferences for that matter. Very very tired lame app

I am a 77 year old woman and I put on my profile that the age limit of my men should be over 70 and you keep sending me 50 & 60 year men whom I am not interested in.

You can only message 1 new person a day unless you pay. The place is full of bots. Can’t view profiles what have liked or viewed you.

Paid twice for monthly subscription… got the odd like every few days. Didn’t renew subscription… email account notified me I have around 10 likes on the day after expired subscription. BOGUS

The platform and customer service are garbage. Most I would say approximately 75% of people don’t have paid upgraded membership so it’s likes galore. Extremely difficult to connect with people. There was also a glitch with my email address and the dogs would not assist me in resolving issue despite having proof of payment and all other details including mobile number. Don’t know waste your precious money on rubbish!!!

Haven’t actually met anyone yet however have recently communicated with someone , hopefully going on a date soon .

Thank you for asking. I am finding it very interesting and lots of fun. However I am not seeing many in my age group. I am being pushed towards men in their 50’s, and that is not what I want to see. I am getting emails telling me that certain men are liking me, but then when I go looking for them, they are not to be found anywhere. I don’t often leave reviews, but POF is bad. Terrible really. Sure, the freemium model is challenging to get right … striking an appropriate balance between what users can do for free while encouraging and promoting upgrading to a paid tier. POF fails, badly. From the constant intrusions promoting upgrading to the unclear mélange of paid options. It’s just not worth the effort.

A vengeful ex had me banned on Tinder with no proof and I was not given any right to reply. That then meant Hinge banned me too. I signed up for POF not realising they’re also part of Match.com, it let me do the lengthy profile set up, took my $40 for being able to use the features for a month and within moments of paying banned me from POF. $40 wasted because of this ridiculous, unfounded revenge report my ex has filed against me. The fact someone can do this with NO PROOF and the fact that Tinder etc do not care nor have any avenues of recourse is disturbing and defamatory. The fact they are quick to take money on their other apps before banning people is a scam and should be a criminal offence!
