I’m finally reviewing this app. I should, Ive been using it for years!! Yes, years. I set the timer for five minutes. I begin the timer with a 5 second beginning. Some years I’ve used it up to 10 minutes. But when life kicks in, and time runs out, even one minute, sitting, meditating is better than none. I’m glad for this app.

REALLY want to LOVE this app, but the timer settings are not working.  It keeps beeping even though I set it to no “rest time” … and .. also doesn’t go to the length of time I set — it shuts off after few minutes.  When I go to the settings, what I programmed is there … but it still does its own thing that’s different from my real settings.  Other than that, this app would be perfect!! 🙏🥰

Oh and you can’t contact them for support.

So perfect! It’s exactly what I was looking for in a meditation time. Simple and easy to use and functional. I love the edit function which gives you options for modifying your meditation. And the ads aren’t unbearable and disruptive. The only modification I’d want is the ability to save multiple different sessions so you don’t have to go in and change the timer for different session lengths. As sometimes I meditate for 20 mins and other times an hour. So it would be nice to have it so that I can save my 20 min timer and my 1hr timer as two different sessions so I can readily have them available. But this is not really a big deal and this feature would be a luxury. I’m okay with needing to adjust my time each time.

This app has been my favorite tool for meditating but they have found it necessary to bring up ads at the end of the meditation that are loud and disturbing. I’ve reached out to see if something could be done but I received no response. For that reason I have reduced my rating from five stars to one. There’s no way to even pay to stop the ads.

This app has terribly annoying ads that pop up all the time. I’d be happy to pay for the app, but nope, you have to watch more annoying ads (a video) to remove the constant pop ups for 48 hours. Uninstalled very quickly.

Two pointless dialog windows appear within the app that I have to click through every single time a session ends and then an ad appears that I have to wait for. Plus there’s always an ad at the top of the app and there’s no premium version, so there’s no way to get rid of them. You can get rid of them for two days if you watch an ad, which means I’d have to watch 183 ads a year to use a simple timer without ads. That’s completely insane!

I like the customizability of the timer but there’s no way to create more than one of them, so if I do different kinds of meditation sessions, I have to change the settings each time. This is ridiculous. And why require me to give the timer a name if it’s the only one I can create? With the reminders, there should be an easy way to pause or silence them all for a time. Finally, the background images are extremely old and low resolution. They need to be updated to use the full resolution of modern devices.

I appreciate whoever built this app for providing most of what I wanted - something elegant, simple, and pretty easy to use. I love the chime sound option, the ways it can be customized, and the lack of fluff. The only thing I can’t figure out is: How can I create more than one program, so I have different session lengths to choose from? I also don’t understand the “report” the app offers to send at the end of each session, so I just cancel it. The app might benefit from a little bit of explanation in that regard. But, thanks! I use it everyday. PS- I wish I didn’t have to close the app and reopen it every time I use it. That’s not helpful. It would also be nice if it displayed the length of meditation time it is set for in the main screen, because sometimes I want to adjust it. Overall though, it’s still simple and uncluttered, and I like that.
