It has endless levels and dungeons all with cool and op monsters. it gives you options to choose a class, level up certain things like endurance, agility, strength etc. as well as the specific powers/moves you choose. In game when youre in the dungeon you can find artifacts, potions, food, weapons, armor and so much more. I usually detest them because they have so many mechanics begging for IAPs it gets laughable. That, and it often feels like playing a pseudo-turn-based 21st century RPG by a script kiddie with no feel for medieval combat. if you have great graphics, the game is stupid and basic. And I have always felt that traditional RPG’s with sheet after sheet of stats and modifiers can never be equalled for game depth. That was about five minutes in. Several hours later, I have several upgraded buildings and I am truly enjoying the combat. A lot of games seem to think that you have to have all these rays of light around a fighter which is really ridiculous. This game just reserves special effects for magic classes and I have to say the combat has been a BLAST for someone who hates real-time RPGs. There are plenty of spells or class-based actions that you can put into three buttons. I love how the esoteric mechanics translate beautifully in combat. Being able to shoot a long steady jet of flame at anything is something that must be experienced. Summoning creatures through a portal and having them join you in immediate combat is very very cool. It really does wizards justice instead of just giving them stupid puny fireballs and it actually defines necromancers authentically. I have run into so many garbage versions of them that they basically come across as guys in bad makeup. To sum up, this game has been enjoyably deep, and very competently presented. Lots of role-playing writing accompanies the things you do. So take it from somebody who has been a turn-based fan since 1985: this game is very fun to stumble into, and even if you do die, you still get very obvious rewards, even for short gameplay. And I am not going to give away some of the interesting things that you can do, but when I saw a couple, my jaw dropped. It’s obvious that this game is a labor of love and I hope there may still be an upgrade or sale for the sequel. I am truly having a blast with a few stat upgrades and HQ upgrades. There are two little problems: the grinding in the early-game, and the abilities. The abilities are not quite balanced, e.g. the necromancer’s normal attacks being a projectile that does medium damage but when you upgrade it it turns into 3 projectiles. Or a slightly debuffing SINGLE projectile that does small damage. The choice is obvious. Then the early game grinding. Its a minor issue, as this is a mobile game, it should really be played in long car rides or something. Not a game you regularly play. (IMO) anyway sorry for the lengthy review, I hope this helps! Regularly updated, a variety of places, creatures, items, and more keep the game interesting even after 100 hours of playtime. That’s only on one character class, too. Easily can see a thousand hours with this game. An excellent game well worth the price of the ultimate edition. And to the developer: you’ve done such and excellent job at putting this game together. The textures are great and match the games vibe well. It would be wonderful if you added even more weapons and armor types, and the ability to forge duplicate gems into higher quality versions with enhanced effects when socketed into items. An update to add better compatibility with a Dualsense PS5 controller would be great, not all the buttons work as they are intended with it. Not game ruining, though. The ability to dual class would be sweet too, being able to use the abilities of a second class (ie Hunter being able to use Warrior abilities).
