I used Pocket for years and it did what I needed, mainly for offline reading of saved articles (e.g. on plane). Not always 100% reliable, sometimes w/o connection it was not possible to open the article but majority of time it was fine. However now they started to promote switch to Firefox accounts, yes keeping option for gmail accounts also, but mentioned that in the future just Firefox accounts will be allowed. I loved its ubiquity as well as it features. Unfortunately the last update completely crippled the display setting. No more background color, no margin width setting, line spacing. Only two fonts! For serif fonts the size setting doesn’t work. The whole point of the app is reading. If I cannot make it comfortable I will have to move to an alternative. Ability to put all the information sources in one place incl. audio, video, text in any format, e.g. PDF or email (currently PDFs are not supported and only documents available online are working - i.e. no PDF documents without link or emails are supported). All of these should be offline of course and this is the second point. Offline reading does not work properly. If I am on weak signal and having slow connection like Edge or even GPRS, the Pocket tries to download updated version which never happens on slow connection or takes ages and thus I am unable to read the article.
