I have been using Pocket apps on all my devices from my laptop to mobile phone for years and I have a premium account. However, the version of Pocket that I use on my iPad Pro (11inch) became useless after recent updates. All started with little hangs. Now, I cannot even open the ‘Saves’ tab. The moment I click on ‘Saves’ button, the app crashes. I am considering not to renew my subscription for the first time, even though I am happy with the other versions on my other devices.

As a long time subscriber and a first time review writer all i can say is this v8 is a huge disappointment. Tts gone. Color options gone. Widgets gone. Even the time estimates are gone. You didn’t even take the time to update your app description which still mentions of an ability to listen to the articles. Too much for just a new home page which I’m not sure if I really care. Whoever sold you this sorry idea of an updated mobile app is just ruining your business.

After update 8.0 the app changed completely. All the good features that made me use the app has gone. The experience is a lot worse. I even paid for premium just to see if they are now paid features (I would even pay for them) but there’s nothing useful in paid subscription either. Even premium fonts (as advertised in premium subscription) is not available to use. 
I have been using Pocket for almost 10 years and this is the first time I will move to another app in this category.

I had highlighting issue. Things that I highlighted disappeared after a moment (paid version). I solved the problem by simply reinstalling the app. Other than that it is a great application.

The app used to work seamlessly between my devices and especially my Kobo, but now I’ve realized that it no longer appears on my share suggestion neither on my phone nor my tablet. 
On their website they write that it is a problem due to the iOS versions, but still it should be their responsibility to fix this enormous issue.
Without sharing the articles between several devises the app becomes obsolete. 

If they fix this issue, would re-rate 5 stars.
