## PocketGrib Description
Con PocketGrib puedes descargar, ver y analizar datos meteorológicos globales cuando quieras.

Viento, precipitaciones, persión, temperatura, olas y otros datos extraídos de los archivos GRIB se muestran a través de nuestra potente interfaz de visor de GRIB. 

Es perfecto para marineros (tanto los que están en el mar, como los que no), surferos, perseguidores de tormentas, entusiastas, amateurs y meteorólogos profesiones.

Características
-Elige tu ubicación en el mapa y observa la información meteorológica
- Animación de los mapas meteorológicos
- Se puede observar el tiempo en meteogramas (gráfico) o en datos
- Se puede configurar la descarga para minimizar los tamaños de los archivos (perfecto para el roaming)
- Los archivos GRIB se pueden descargar a tu PC vía iTunes
- Funciona con y sin conexión a Internet
- Compatibilidad con archivos GRIB procedentes de terceros

PocketGrib descargas y muestra los tipos de tiempo siguientes:
- Velocidad del viento y dirección
- Pluviosidad (lluvia, nieve, etc)
- Presión
- Temperatura del aire
- Waves (incluyendo Mediterráneo y Mar Negro)
- Cobertura de nubes
- Humedad relativa
- CAPE (Energía Potencial Convectiva Disponible)
- Corriente (Atlántico solamente)

Descarga directamente datos de GRIB y del sistema global de previsiones NOAA
- Previsiones hasta de 8 días
- Intervalos: 3, 6 y 12 horas
- Cobertura mundial
- Resolución: 0.25°, 0.5°, 1°, 2°
- Información actualizada 4 veces al día (cada 6 horas)
También es compatible con modelos COAMPS (resolución 0,2º), WW3, NOGAPS, RTOFS (corrientes) y FNMOC WW3 (olas del Mediterráneo).

Las previsiones GRIB se publican sin intervención humana o revisión. Por eso, el usuario final ha de tener algo de conocimiento y conciencia. La mayoría de los modelos GRIB NO predicen huracanes y ciclones tropicales de forma acertada, por eso, su utilización debe combinarse con previsiones específicas de huracanes y ciclones tropicales.
