## PocketGrib Description
Con PocketGrib puoi scaricare, visualizzare ed analizzare i dati sul tempo globale mentre sei in viaggio.

Vento, precipitazioni, pressione, temperatura, forza del mare ed altri dati estratti dai file GRIB vengono mostrati attraverso la nostra potente interfaccia di visualizzazione GRIB.

Perfetto per i marinai (sia in mare sia al bar), per chi fa windsurf, per i cacciatori di tempeste, per gli entusiasti dell'aria aperta, per i meteorologi amatoriali e professionisti.

Caratteristiche
- Scegli la località della tua mappa e ricevi le informazioni sul tempo in sovrimpressione.
- Animazione delle mappe del tempo.
- Il tempo può essere visualizzato come un meteogramma (grafico) o come dati grezzi.
- Download configurabile per minimizzare le dimensioni dei file (eccellente per il roaming).
- I file GRIB possono essere scaricati nel tuo PC da iTunes.
- Visualizzazioni on-line e off-line.
- Supporto per file GRIB di altri gestori.

Download PocketGrib e visualizza i seguenti tipi di tempo:
- Velocità e direzione del vento
- Precipitazioni (pioggia, neve ecc)
- Pressione
- Temperatura dell'aria
- Waves (compresi Mediterraneo e del Mar Nero)
- Copertura nuvolosa
- Umidità relativa
- CAPE (Energia potenziale convettiva disponibile)
- Corrente (solo Atlantico)

Download diretto di dati GRIB dal modello GFS NOAA (Global Forecast System).
- Previsioni fino a 8 giorni.
- Intervallo dati: 3h; 6h; 12h.
- Copertura mondiale.
- Risoluzione: 0,25°, 0,5°; 1°; 2°.
- Dati aggiornati 4 volte al giorno (ogni 6 ore).
Include il supporto per modelli COAMPS (risoluzione 0,2°), WW3, NOGAPS, RTOFS (Correnti) e FNMOC WW3 (Mediterranean wave).

Le previsioni GRIB vengono pubblicate senza intervento o revisione umani. Per tale motivo, l'utente finale deve avere qualche conoscenza e consapevolezza. La maggior parte dei modelli GRIB NON prevede accuratamente gli uragani ed i cicloni tropicali, quindi il loro utilizzo dovrebbe essere associato a previsioni specifiche di uragani e cicloni tropicali.

Quest'app mi fu consigliata da un capitano di bordo di una barca di amici presso cui ero ospite. Sono appassionato di meteo ma non conoscevo le app che utilizzano Grib file. È tutto un altro mondo e capisco perché venga utilizzato a bordo di imbarcazioni dove è importante capire l'evoluzione del clima. Questa è un'app molto precisa e chiara molto più coinvolgente delle solite app ad icone con temperature e nuvolette!!!!!!! Apprezzabili i miglioramenti grafici, ora la leggibilità delle info è a prova di presbiopia!!! --------------------------------------------- Dopo un anno di utilizzo devo continuare ad ammettere che è la più precisa e attendibile!!!!!!! Ne ho provate altre, più complicate o lente nel download. Bravi!!!!

Sono passati 4 anni, quando mi serve sapere come sarà il tempo spesso apro le classiche app ma quando la previsione è veramente importante, apro questa. In particolare quando devo sapere se uscire in mare o se il tempo sta cambiando.
