Polar Scope Align Pro is a complete toolkit for amateur astronomers: accurate polar alignment, deep-sky observing, astro weather, push-to/manual GoTo, iOptron mount WiFi control, widgets and more. All features and updates are free forever. Optional in-app purchases are just tips to support development.

POLAR ALIGNMENT
• Calculates Polaris or σ Octantis position for 30+ reticle types: iOptron, Astro-Physics, Takahashi, Skywatcher, Vixen, Celestron, Orion, Astrotrac and others*
• Atmospheric refraction correction for accuracy at any latitude
• Works with or without a polar scope

ALIGNMENT WITHOUT A POLAR SCOPE

I found PS align pro to be extremely valuable and simple to use when trying to polar align my Takahashi Teegul mount. I can sit my iPhone in the neck of the RA arm and have it lay back on the RA rotation point. The level bubble allows me to set the RA arm at the nadir point. I can then rotate the whole mount on the tripod to adjust for north alignment (magnetic deviation already allowed for) and then adjust the tilt for my latitude. Simple and quick. Accurate enough for visual tracking in less than a minute.
