Some feedback and suggestions on your application. Overall, I find the app to be excellent, but there are a few issues that I believe could be improved. Firstly, the auto-rotation feature seems to be malfunctioning. When I rotate my phone to landscape mode and place it on a table, it automatically rotates back to portrait mode, even at slight angles. This can be quite frustrating, especially when trying to watch videos in full screen. Secondly, the app is advertised as being ad-free, yet advertisements appear every time I open the app. Some of these ads are inappropriate and repetitive, including those intended for an 18+ audience. This detracts from the user experience and contradicts the app’s ad-free claim. Now, onto the suggestions: Rethink the ‘Love It’ Feature: Consider replacing this feature with a music or movie feature similar to ‘YouTube Music’. This could provide more value to users who don’t frequently use the ‘Love It’ feature. Background App Refresh: Implement a feature that allows the app to update its content in the background while it’s not in use. This could include fetching new data, updating the user interface, or pre-loading content, making the app more responsive and ready to use when opened. Video Preview: Introduce a feature that shows a short preview or snippet of the video content when a user hovers over a video thumbnail. This could give users a quick overview of the video content before they decide to watch the full video. In-Screen Slide Features Deactivation: Allow users to disable certain in-screen slide features, such as adjusting the volume or screen brightness by sliding on the screen. This would prevent accidental adjustments that can occur when users unintentionally touch the screen. Improved ‘Me’ Option: Replace the current ‘Me’ option with a more intuitive ‘My Account’ option. This could lead to a profile page showing the user’s name, recently watched videos or music, liked videos, playlists, screen time, and other features. A settings icon could be added next to ‘My Account’ for easy access to app settings. Non-Blinking Ad Hint Icon: Stop the ad hint icon from blinking. The blinking can be distracting and even cause discomfort for some users. By making the ad hint icon static, it would be less intrusive. Video Playback Interruption: Address the issue where video playback stops when the phone is rotated.
