## PRESTO Description
With the official PRESTO app you can manage your card and tap your iPhone or Apple Watch to pay for transit.


Use the PRESTO app for iPhone to:
• Convert a physical PRESTO card to PRESTO in Apple Wallet and tap your iPhone or Apple Watch to pay for transit (not available on OC Transpo) 
• Load funds instantly with NFC
• Load transit passes instantly with NFC
• Pay with Apple Pay, debit/credit cards, or saved payment method
• Set up and manage Autoload and Autorenew
• Manage up to 10 PRESTO cards
• Check your PRESTO card balances
• View transaction history
• Receive low balance/pass expiry reminders and email receipts for fare purchases
• Buy a PRESTO card and create a PRESTO account
• Display the time that your active transfers will expire with the check balance feature
• Set, modify or remove a default trip for GO Transit rail trips through the settings menu

PRESTO can be used on:
• Brampton Transit
• Burlington Transit
• Durham Region Transit (DRT)
• GO Transit

For security reasons, the PRESTO app is not supported on jailbroken devices.

First why do I keep getting logged out. ITS VERY INCONVENIENT. When on the go and need to reload my funds, and I’m randomly logged out, so I need to enter my log in details while walking. And enter my payment and address even though it’s supposed to be already saved in my “SAVED PAYMENT METHODS” but it’s NOT. I give up. I just end up paying with my debit card with the regular adult fare and not the youth fare. I end up paying more cause this app sucks.

The app works well, can set up my autoload, check balance, and updated my info pretty easily. Only drawback is the white screen (with a cancel in the upper left hand corner) that momentarily appears before the landing page does. Bit annoying to see it.

I can never get my phone to tap and I regret transferring over to this app. I hold up the lines, am often missing trains, because I can’t tap. I have now had to build extra time into my commute because of the trouble shooting at the swipe locations. It’s embarrassing.

UPDATE: I have always had Express Transit on since I transferred it to the Wallet and it is still refuses to tap either on the bus or at the station. I continue to be embarrassed. It’s been two weeks of me testing different tap on/offs and it still never works for me.

this app sucks, as an understatement. half the time it doesn’t work, i ended up having to use my husbands credit card in order to load funds onto the dumb thing, and when we did it wouldn’t let me tap the card on my phone, so they said “check back in 6 hours!!”… like i was supposed to be out of the door TWO HOURS AGO (that’s how long it has taken me to resolve this problem). God bless my man, he eventually figured out how to load the money onto the card for me immediately; maybe you people should hire my husband because he’s clearly better at all of this than any of the app designers who made this app. if there was any other way to pay for OC transpo beside change i would use it a million times over this; Presto, you’re lucky you’re the only option.

I have my presto card on my apple wallet, i did not put my passcode to pay i used a transfer to get on the bus. somehow it still charged my presto card….. it needs my password in order for me to pay how did it still charge me. Dont add presto card to your apple wallet

The balance doesn’t update. It’s January 8, mine still shows my balance as of Dec 12.
They charge you if you use transit without enough funds but can’t show you an accurate display of your funds. It’s such a scam.
