Prey Find My Phone & Security

The only thing this app is good for is when you are active, but as soon as phone is locked or not in use you cannot locate or make the phone ring. Don’t see the point in this app if you have to always have your phone awake and in use, tried all settings changing them to see if it made a difference and it did not. Do not recommend as it doesn’t do anything to do with tracking when phone is off or not in use.

Recommending tracking and monitoring suspected cheating wife,Technology can be really really beguiling.There are so many apps and what not that promise awesome results if you can just get hold of your spouse’s device. This has always been a huge limitation for me as I’ve always wanted to see everything in my spouse’s device without getting hold of her phone or her finding out. Every portable device that can install Prey should do so. It is an excellent security product.

a exe program in preys files keeps getting flagged as viruses and trojans, got fed up n deleted it. tracking seems to work fine but o cant truss this app now

App itself is good and useful but the login integration is awful!! Security app like this MUST integrate with password managers seamlessly. The app resets every time you switch to a different app/close it and switch back; this males login virtually impossible if you need to switch to password manager and 2FA app.

Had my laptop stolen at least 3000mi from home and received the first report 4 month later with lots of useful informations. The police sadly didn’t bother. Received another report from a different location and person roughly two month later. Forwarded everything to a nearby police station, and they caught that person. Could identify my laptop by providing the unlock password and the serial number, and got my device back 7 month after it had been stolen. That’s hugely impressive !Thank you, Prey !

This is a great app for tracking theif. I used this app to track a thief who stole my phone and with the use of this app I am able to track and detect his movements. Now I am able to track him down and get my phone back.
