Great with some UX drawbacks

Please, add a simple drag-and-drop and edit functions on the profile list. Now when I want a different colour code or order I need to redo them all

Lots of problems.

Lots of apps and websites doesn’t work while using this VPN (they all worked on Nord). While connected to certain country I’m recognized by some websites as another country (not mine and not that which I chose on vpn app). I have to disconnect vpn to even pay my bills in Tauron app (energetic company). I like Proton Mail but this VPN is constant struggle compared for my previous VPN services.

„Always on” makes my phone unusable

Love it, but why do you don’t give me option to turn off „always on”. Main intention was to use VPN on public networks, not everyday. It worked just fine on my home WiFi so unability to turn off „always on” was bit strange, but I can live with it. On mobile data I simply cannot use internet, my signal strength in place I live is not great, maybe that’s one of the reasons, maybe I cannot set it up correctly, yet it boils down to „I cannot use internet with protonVPN installed”. Does premium plan gives you opportunity to turn of „always on” on iOS?

In my opinion best vpn app out there. Uses bit too much energy on mobile devices, but it’s not problematic. Log free policy is most important for me!

Disappointment

Proton used to be the best free VPN there was. I had server outage problems like twice but it's understandable since everyone has these eventually. Now though you've taken away the only feature that made this app stand out above others: manual server selection of the most anticipated locations. One in western Europe, one in eastern Asia and one in North America. Why would I, as a Pole, would wanna use a server in Poland when I can just use Cloudflare instead with even better results? This recent update was very disappointing. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because of the sentimental value this app once had.

Good progress

After using mullvad for over a year I have decided to try proton out. I was surprised when it turned out it works seamlessly with most popular vod services. It’s transparent in day to day usage. Servers are fast. I recommend proton.
