This app is not good at all. If you look at the code template you can see by default it has semicolons (this thing: “;”) in the script. The real python prints an error code if you use semicolons. The Apple Watch version says that it is unsupported when I try to execute the code (series 7). The editor doesn’t work right as well. When I use the editor it undoes deleted characters that I had previously typed.

I’ve had this app for a long time. There really isn’t a good way to code locally on python other than this app. It has good file system management and really nice quick access to odd characters you have to type when coding. If you don’t have access to laptop and need to write some code this is amazing for it. Also was the way I learned python so highly recommend this app.

The interface with the buttons would be 4 stars because there are so many of them, but the most basic ones (new file and run) are all  I need. The keyboard had things on top to allow easy access to type non letter characters. When typing, there is an autocorrect feature, but it’s only for premium. But the autocorrect shows. It just had a bright red ‘Please purchase the autocomplete function’ on top, and I haven’t found a way to hide that yet. That is quite annoying and distracting, but running the code turns out quite well, and it does what I need.

Edit: This was the first time using it, I have discovered that there is an ability in settings to turn off the  bright red autocorrect, making this app good for me. I would definitely use my computer over this, but if I can’t, this is a good replacement.
