Perfect For Enabling The Local Storage (Files App) In iOS 11
I was looking for a file manager that lets me upload files from the PC, which then show up in the internal Files app so that they can be accessed from other places like the Safari browser. This functionality is available in a few other alternatives such as Readdle, but it requires a higher OS version than the one I have (iOS 11). Fortunately, Quick Explorer steps in as a perfect replacement. The interface and advanced options take some time to figure out. Once you've got the hang of it though, the app works magnificently, especially in browsing the PC filesystem. The ads are unobtrusive, except for the full screen ones after closing the settings screen. The only niggle in the app is the lack of a progress bar during large file transfers. The "copying" notification disappears after a minute, and only by looking at the network activity in the PC did I realize that the copying was still going on in the background. This is a major bug that I hope gets fixed, because it'll confuse a lot of users. Other than that, the app is pretty much perfect!
