Excellent and stable app so far. -Patched Bandit

For what it costs, I get other fun features with TrackAddict . Racechrono is missing more gauge design options. The landscape mode is bothersome since you have to press that button to allow the rotation for the camera. Also the app has issues exporting to the camera roll.

This app is a really good alternative of expensive lap timers like AiM. Would be 5 star if it had a bit more overlay customizations and CarPlay support.

This is the only track data analysis tool I use and I don’t need any others. I use it with my Go Pro Hero 9 and it gives me just about everything I need. Video synced up with track map and speed graphs, sector and lap comparison with your best laps, top/min/avg speed, nice visual overlays My only gripes are that I wish it had the ability to control playback speed so I could watch comparisons closer, and video compression. Since this is only for iPhone/Tablet you’re more space limited and GoPro files are huge, so if I could in app compress them it would help a lot.

Awesome app. I am doing Nasa DE's. Remote control start/stop your go pro, automatic hooks up to a bt gps and go. Can also record mechanicals if you have an obd. Have not had any hiccup with it even with my almost 3 yr old iphone mini. No stress in grid getting ready to go. It just works. The video importing and exporting is great for visual brains like me. New version 8 is taking things to the next level. In the future it would be awesome if the speed vs distance chart could show every lap in a session and a way to turn laps on and off. Currently can only compare two at a time. Would like to be able to import a whole session from gopro without needing to download through the quik app or cable but I understand that is a niche feature. I like to do that for autocross, with no phone in the car. If you are considering which lap timer app to use or even a catalyst or aim solo device, I urge you to try this one. The developer is very helpful and supportive on the racechrono forums. I would give 6 stars if I could.
