My father and I were really interested in this app, we decided to do some testing before paying to add more locations. We set up multiple physical rain gauges (of different brands to be able to verify consistency) in multiple locations, one group in our farmyard, and a few other groups in our fields. We have been in a very wet weather system the past 2-3 days, and the app is off by, on average, 2" of rain under what the physical gauges are reading in 72 hrs.

Great idea, would love to be able to use it as a tool on the farm, but it’s just not accurate enough. Will have to stick to physical gauges and checking weather stations across multiple platforms for now.
