### ****- "Could be great but misses a bit"
Good chess app overall. Hideous advertising overhead though requiring four or five clicks to clear each. The opening moves at each skill level are almost always the same as well. The puzzles are good but too many rely on the opponent making an unnecessary Queen sacrifice or other silly move. Also some puzzles mark you as “wrong” if you take a slightly different inconsequential safety move at the end (e.g. move a bishop three squares instead of four with no real impact) It would be useful to be able to see a replay of puzzles as well.

But I’m learning thanks to the “replay game” button which points out blunders, mistakes & inaccuracies even in its OWN playing. OMG and all I gotta do is sit thru an ad for kids games and it’s free.

This game in my opinion is not very real, sure, the static’s is amazing and you can set your game up in any way you could possibly imagine but say if you have a knight who has checkmated your king you would have no choice but to move it (like leery the game would not let you move any other chess piece) I think is merely stupid of the game and it should let the player move freely.

The AI on max difficulty has some issues with losing, not even losing infact,, getting the better result from a small battle between pieces will see one of two outcomes...
(1)-The game will freeze, with no command available but to force quit / close / restart the app. (happened 3 out of 3 times when players horse positioned between AI king and castle).
or-(2)-The AI will move a piece back and forth if you have it 'soon to be' stuck in a lose / lose situation. This is not easy to achieve on max difficulty, but the AI resorts to this back and forth nature rather quickly. Many times it's merely a pawn in my favour that triggers it, and unfortunately, it does resort to this method as a primary attack (ie - also triggered to take a players pawn). This results in one (and only one) way to move the game forward, by helping the AI take your pieces.
2/5 stars due to appreciation, but tactical disappointment. (It could be just me though - iphone 4S, ios 9.1).

This is the best chess app on the App Store by far. I love the online multiplayer and the smart ai cloud to test your elo level. If only this app was a bit more popular it would be the best

MY FAVOURITE CHESS APP ON iOS BY FAR!!

After the update next month nothing will come close. 

The graphics on this chess game are the best on any app. The MAJOR problem is that the server loses connection constantly. 

The things I believe need to be added/fixed within the app are: (a) add an in game chat function (as currently I have no idea of the skill level of my opponent); (b) add a user profile (so I can learn more about my opponent's age/location/skill level); (c) a back button/move history button, in two player/online, to review the move history (it's annoying having to keep ur eyes glued to the screen to make sure you know where ur opponent moved to); (d) a 'resign' button (as when you take an opponent's King, a weak player without integrity will merely hit the home icon and leave the game, though from my perspective, it just states that I have lost connection with the server - meaning I am waiting to continue playing with no one); (e) Facebook login so I can suggest the App to my friends; (f) rule updates to incorporate three fold repetition, En Passant, Stalemate; (g) when the game is finished, have an option to make the huge checkmate banner disappear so I can see the final result/board; (h) in 1 Player AI strength options, the options are LOW to HIGHT - tho should say HIGH; (i) at the bottom of the screen, where it suggests whose turn it is should have an apostrophe I.e WHITE'S TURN or BLACK'S TURN, instead of WHITE TURN or BLACK TURN; (j) optimise the place where the taken pieces sit, as it is hard to see what pieces have been taken; and (k) change the name - Chess Fusion isn't a very emotive title - what's the 'fusion' - what's fusing with what??? Maybe simply ChessHD, or, Real Chess. 

Once these issues are addressed it will be a BOSS world beater.
