Recipe Keeper

Decided to give this app a quick try, so easy to take a picture of a recipe, organize, create a cookbook, search for ingredients, create a grocery list. So far I haven’t found anything I can’t do with it. Loaded almost 200 recipes in just a few hours.

We cook at home 4-5 nights a week. We rely on a stockpile of our favorite recipes but also incorporate new ones all the time. Recipe keeper is the #1 best ever recipe app I’ve used! It’s simple, imports recipes beautifully, and is easy to see and use. It’s the best!!

I’ve been an avid user of this app for over two years now, and it’s truly one of the best available. Its user-friendly interface, extensive recipe database, meal planner, and various other convenient features make recipe and meal planning an absolute breeze. The app is definitely worth the price, and I highly recommend it. However, I have a suggestion for the developers to consider. I understand the need for a per OS per account policy, but it would be fantastic if there were an option to share recipes with family members or groups. Currently, this is not possible beyond import and export functionalities. A potential solution could be to allow recipe sharing within a family or group, perhaps requiring all memebers to have a pro account and maintain the same OS, thus adhering to the existing policy. This addition could be a win-win, enhancing user experience without affecting revenue. I’m excited to see how this app continues to evolve and would love to hear the developers’ thoughts on this concept. It’s already a near-perfect app, and this enhancement could make it even better

I love this app! All my recipes, always, right at my fingertips. I love being able to share them easily. So easy to add a recipe from any where: a photo, a website, a picture or an old recipe card. To make it even better, please add a macros breakdown feature.

This is a great app, but you have to pay extra (another $29.99) if you want to share from your iOS purchase to your Windows laptop. I love the app, but I’m not sure I would have paid for it if I’d known that.

I like this app, but it seems wrong that I would need to pay for the pro version on separate devices, eg my iPhone and my tablet, in order to sync between them. I’ve never seen this on any other app that I’ve purchased and I’ve downloaded a lot of them.

Finally a place to really keep all my recipes along with notes and photos. Also, importing a recipe has never been so easy. This app also allows for customization of each recipe. I did the one time upgrade to the premium, which I would recommend to everyone. This is easy to use, and keeps everything in one place. It works well with shared devices. I have made cleaning up my hand written paper recipes a priority for 2025.

🗣🗣 This app is UNBELIEVABLE!!! It's ridiculous how good this app is 💯 I am able to add my recipes or upload recipes via a url and the process is so SIMPLE! My daughter recently asked me for a recipe and I was able to select the print option to turn the recipe into a PDF and simply text it to her. It seriously took me less than a min! I've been telling anyone and everyone to down👏🏾load👏🏾this👏🏾app!!

The app would be great, if it was made clear that you cannot actually sync data between your computer and phone without paying TWICE on both devices. The upgrade plan makes it sound as though a key feature of the paid version is syncing between devices. But you have to pay one fee to do this on your phone and another even bigger fee on your computer in order to actually sync.

Let me start by saying this app is great. It changes the game when it comes to recipe planning and executing. With all of my recipes in one spot that I can easily print out or edit as we change recipes to fit our tastes. I think that this app is just wonderful. I only cook for me and my fiancé so I can’t imagine how helpful this would be for a large family or someone who hates planning and figuring out grocery lists. HOWEVER when you pay for the pro version, it states that you can sync it across all of your devices. Which is true sort of. If you buy it on an Apple device, you can sync it across all of your APPLE devices. The same goes for all other operating systems. You CANNOT sync across a Mac and a Windows operating system for example. I feel the marketing was a little bit misleading, but you can see it in the fine print. I paid for the pro version on my iPhone and I am now facing the issue of paying for a second account on my HP laptop due to this. Also the prices for the pro version vary across different platforms. For example, it’s $30 on my HP laptop, but was only $20 on my iPhone. The marketing and pricing seems quite deceptive, but frankly it’s worth it for me due to how helpful this app is with meal planning and will continue to use the app on my phone, but will not be buying a second pro account.
