Vorweg kann ich sagen, es ist März 2019 und tl;dr: Die App ist absolut ihr Geld wert! Man könnte sogar so weit gehen, dass hinter manchen 1-Sternchen Beurteilungen keine unerfahrenen Anfängeruser sitzen, sondern eventuell gezielte politische Interessen. Nun aber zum RedOnion2-Browser. Man kann zunächst problemlos über das TOR-Netzwerk auf .onion Seiten zugreifen. Etwas anonymer also sonst auch auch auf alle anderen .com .de und wasauchimmer „normal“-Domains. Der Bonus: Das eingebaute VPN ermöglicht die Anonymität auch über alle anderen installierten Browser, wie z. B. Safari oder Chrome. Dies ist nicht ganz anonym woe das besuchen von .onion Seiten, aber immerhin ist die IP zunächst nicht so einfach rückverfolgbar. Für ein maximal privateres Bewegen im Netz sehr praktisch, allerdings sollte man beachten, dass man nur auf .onion Seiten und mit dem RedBrowser2 selbst wirklich anonym unterwegs ist. Dazu sollte man auch das JavaScript im Red Onion2 deaktivieren. Ich bin mir noch nicht ganz klar darüber, was ein TOR-VPN genau sein soll, bzw. wäre es schön, wenn der Hersteller das etwas erläutern würde, oder gern auch der CCC, falls sich da jemand die Mühe machen mag. Natürlich ist die Geschwindigkeit für viele Seiten langsamer, was der Anonymität geschuldet ist. Wenn man etwas mehr Geduld mitbringt, ist die Geschwindigkeit aber selbst für YouTube Videos kein Problem. Ich lasse mir lieber etwas Zeit, als das mein Privat- und Berufsleben mitgeschnitten wird. Je mehr Menschen das gut erprobte TOR-Netzwerk nutzen, desto unmöglicher wird eine Rückverfolgung. Ich nutze das Netzwerk also auch, um andere Menschen zu unterstützen, die aus Angst vor Verfolgung wie z. B. aus China oder den Arabischen Emiraten, auf TOR angewiesen sind. Je mehr TOR zum Standard wird, desto unmöglicher ist es für Behörden und Regime, die Privatsphäre von Nutzern zu durchleuchten. -- xtraa, 2019-03-10 ### *---- "Was für‘n Betrug" iPhone SE, 11.3.1 Startet nicht! VPN läuft dann weiter aber man kann sich nicht mehr verbinden, - egal mit welchem Browser. Ist die App einmal abgestürzt, dann schließt sie beim Start sofort wieder. Man muss erst des VPN ausschalten um dann die App neu zu starten. Hat man Glück geht das auch mal. Die App ist kein Ersatz für den Red Browser vom selben Entwickler. Es fehlen alle Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten um anonym zu browsen (ich sage nur http-referrer!!!!), kein user-agent spoofing, keine Möglichkeit den Verlauf beim Verlassen automatisch zu löschen, kein Abruf einer neuen IP (=new identity), ....... Am schlimmsten ist aber, dass man keinerlei Kontrolle über das VPN hat. Dieses wird gestartet und das war es. Keine Möglichkeit die Verbindung zu TOR neu aufbauen zu lassen (neue IP), keine Möglichkeit Apps auszuwählen die das VPN nutzen dürfen........ -- VRibei, 2018-07-11 ### *---- "Hier ist viel Luft nach oben" Leider stürzt das App beim Download ab. Nur wenige downloads laufen. Bitte bekommt das wieder wie in der 1. Version hin. Ein Captcha ist hier ein Hindernis , da es nicht richtig angezeigt wird und der Code sich nicht kopieren lässt. Hier ist jedesmal ENDE. Das Butten zum Beenden der App würde ich mir auf der Oberfläche wünschen. Bitte setzt auch das Dateisystem System von ios11 ein.
