On most occasion opening the app and selecting either DC-DC app or my new Renogy Shunt 300 the app asks me to save the device name repeatedly. I need to click save 2 or 3 times before the device will load in the app

You’re forced to log in every time you open the app to check battery level.

I bought the Renogy One and related relays, MPTT controllers etc to enable my Camper van with central control and app access. The big issue is you cannot use the phone app if you don’t have an internet connection. You can connect via Bluetooth to individual devices but you cannot connect directly to the RenogyOne which has all related Renogy devices configured. Seems a big gap to me but I still like the fact you can map smart relays to the 6 physical switches on the RenogyOne so that at least provides ability to control devices and switch manually or via app if internet connected. Last annoying related issue, RenogyOne won’t connect to password less WiFi hotspots and will also not detect my IPhones local hotspot for internet access either!!!

You cant rely on a consistent connection with this

In comparison to the most common solar app in the world, WatchPower, this app rocks. It pulls together hard wired rs485 and Bluetooth devices seamlessly and displays pertinent information. It’s not perfect, few solar apps are, and this is largely because their product range spans many years and uses different connections and protocols, plus third party devices are not easily added. It works much better if you have a Renogy One Core doing the hard work and passing the info along to the app, with all newer Renogy rj45 or Bluetooth devices and then you get nice stuff like wireless switches to turn on non Renogy devices like inverters and battery heaters. It’s good enough now and you can clearly see how much better it will get when their devices catch up.

The last three updates of this App have a less clear history graph than previously and have had the wrong units for current data on the graph axis (V instead of A). Spend less time on the all the annoying marketing forced upon us in this app and more time on the technical information accuracy and clarity.

The app find controller ok but don’t detect the Aolithium battery or Renogy 3000 inverter so you can’t get a reading

Opened app (iOS) got told of update. Updated app. Now on starting app see the picture on start up then the app crashes and disappears- no error messages, nothing.

The latest update seems to have caused an issue with Bluetooth battery dropping off last version was very stable this one not so much !!

As many others have expressed, the latest update has completely failed and caused all devices to stop connecting to the app and the renogy one Wi-Fi remote unit FIX IT URGENTLY you are losing customer loyalty and you will lose business with such terrible customer support and service
