Really easy to set up and use. Lots of options to make your own card or just have a virtual card!!

Revolut restricted my account over a legitimate Zilch card, claiming they couldn’t "recognise" it. Support is being painfully slow and say that they will take up to 7 or even 9 days to review a quick simple issue, leaving me without access to my own money. This lack of urgency and poor handling is unacceptable. Be cautious—your account can be frozen for no good reason! Update its day 4 and they still cannot check 1 Zilch payment of £3. Imagine what they do with real money. Update, day 7, I sent them everything I have about Zolch to unlock my account, they are still resolving something really small and simple as Zilch. Update, day 9, still no response from them. Update, day 11. I am still waiting for any response to resolve the restriction.

Update: The response Revolut gave to my review here in the App Store with advice what steps to take, are the steps I took already. Why should I take the same steps again? Would Customer Service pay closer attention to the fraud I was a victim to just because I wrote a review here? What a shame to Revolut!!!! My opinion stays: Serious security breach, no help from revolut whatsoever. Great when it works, hope that you never need customer service as this is a service in name only and most issues will be brushed under the carpet. It came to my attention that my card details were cloned. While I was on holiday I suddenly noticed that quite a few small amounts were taken out of my Revolut account. The payment that got my attention was a purchase in a restaurant while I was in another restaurant quite at a distance from where I was. After careful evaluation of every past purchase, I discovered a few small purchases with varying merchant names with the same location - coordinates for the middle of a busy intersection. Needless to say - there is nothing in the middle of this intersection but road and traffic lights. I immediately blocked the card and informed Revolut of all fraudulent transactions. The response I received was that it was highly unlikely that fraud had happened as these purchases were made through ApplePay. I understand that it is “highly unlikely”, but is it also highly unlikely that I will be physically at two locations almost opposite of each other to make purchases using ApplePay. It appears that Revolut don’t want to admit that they have a serious security breach for fear of losing customers. Hopefully they are working to find the problem and come up with adequate solution in the background. Who knows, they might admit that my card was cloned and restore the stolen money in my account - especially those from the businesses in the middle of the busy intersection.

The app is great, and payments and transfers super easy. however it’s extremely frustrating and painful to not be able to actually use the app and make internal transfers while i am confirming a payment. From the confirm popover that i can only close by rejecting, I can add money from a credit card/bank, but cannot make a transfer from an internal account i already have on Revolut (so i’m punished for keeping money here). The only solution is to check the account before any online payment (annoying) or reject, add money and retry. Reject seems unnecessary, instead I could have more options from this page, or be able to minify the active request. thanks!
