Ring - Always Home

Am unable to login after moving to iphone 15pro. Sign in page takes me to an error page and I can’t do anything about it.

Team, after the app last update cannot monitor live anymore, the picture freezes after a couple seconds at stays like that, no matter which camera used. No wireless networks reachability issues, no issues before the update.

Some ring products allow for the fitment of a second battery. However, if you do this, the app can’t cope and throws various problems like not seeing the second battery, or thinking that the overall power is low, which prevents being able to use live view. I’m told that ring is looking into this, but the delivery of a resolution is unknown.

Would be great if the app could run in landscape mode for all pages, this would be more practical when used on a wall mounted tablet used as a home hub.

Since the last update mine takes ages to open live view and when it does the vision is distorted and you can’t even have a conversation anymore via the ring bell.

Do not invest in RING. There are much better options out there that are cheaper, more efficient and reliable. These guys should be at the top with how long they been around. Give it a few more years and no one will be using RING. I guess they jus got complacent and couldn’t keep up. It’s a shame that the focus is on money not the product.

Would be great if the app actually alerted you to people at your front door. The app alerts when children walk past my house on the opposite side of road but won’t alert when someone is actually at my door. It’s the dumbest, most user unfriendly app I’ve ever used. Am seriously thinking about getting a different brand. The different settings seem to contradict each other. It’s not great. So again, someone actually came to my front door, and the camera missed it. Got the cars driving past though. Gets all the traffic, just not the people coming to my door!!! Seriously useless.

I’ve used this system for about a year. The app works well, and the ability to share locations with others is great. The app really needs alerting for when some or all devices go offline. I’ve had alerts for break-ins before, and it is worrying to think that if they cut the power first, I would not have received any warning. Having that extra monitoring in the cloud would be a big advantage over a NVR/DVR setup.

When someone comes to my door I grab my phone, click the notification and it just takes such a long time to load that they’ve almost always already left. I also I don’t like when you want to view the recorded part you missed you have to leave and go back in, why can’t I scroll from where I was? I can’t seem to find where you can record your own message, just seems to have the robot voice preset replies.

After setting personalised tones my camera still default to windchimes Is there an update coming out?
