The Artist Library is just sad
Where are the bands we used to play with in Rocksmith 2014? I feel scammed, just crappy songs for a brand with a Rock included in its name…
Actual trash app
Hyper predatory and actually barely works anyways app. Using the iRig2 device to plug into my iPad had like a 240ms delay (which no other app has) probabl because it doesn’t support output to the iRig, only input. And this isn’t adjustable in any way to work with the song you are listening to. You can line up the screen to the song audio, but your guitar isn’t going to line up with it and on top of it it barely registers. So use raw speakers? Oh that also works like garbage. $140 a year for this is an absolute joke. Just buy the original rock smith, or pay one of those super helpful websites less for more help. Skip this please. Don’t let UBI scam you like they always try to do.
Expensive
Look I get it, learn to play guitar, but for a whole year, that’s ridiculously expensive. Looks like a great app and all, but could easily look up these videos for free on YouTube. If you made the app for free, you’d get more downloads easily, or make it 20 a year.
Just not worth it
I think the app and concept is incredible. I’m a fan of Rocksmith 2014 and having that experience on the go is great. I have no problems with the app itself as I think it’s very well designed for all Apple devices. However I think the subscription model is way too expensive to afford, and I find the song library too lackluster to justify it. I think experienced guitarists should put their money towards an UG Pro subscription instead, just saying…
Bring back the fun
I’m a long time fan of rocksmith. However, in this version, Some of the arcade modes and other fun stuff of the older rocksmiths are missing. Also, please add coop or collaboration. Realtime would be great. If I could jam with my buddies around the world you would have a winner. Thanks!
I need help
I keep entering my email address but this, game refuses to accept it so I can’t make and Ubisoft account
Spammy trial said free but billed me $140
Tried to sign up for a 7 day trial and was charged $140! Pretty spammy.
Constant crash
Went from 3 stars to 1. Constant crashes and connection errors, most bend notes not registering and no tuning option available mid game unless you play a song that requires a different tune.
No songs
The song selection is all over the place. They have a bunch of random songs like movie or game soundtracks, and not popular one. They don’t even have artist’s most popular songs. They don’t even have any blink-182 song!! It would be one this if this was free, but don’t forget you have to PAY a subscription for this (20 bucks a month too!!) You are way better off picking up the old console game and learning from that, at least that’s a flat 60 bucks up front and that’s it (unless you want more songs, then it’s 2 bucks a song) OR go on YouTube.
