This is an ask that has been going on for years. The app does not follow iOS gestures. Can you please implement the swipe from left to get to main menu rather than each swipe goes to previous story. This has been around for years. So simple and will be incredibly useful.

Is there something wrong with the app.  When I try to open, it just shuts down.  I have deleted the app and reinstalled from the App Store.  Normally it’s great. I love getting all the news from home.

Clearly no testing has been done with this app on iPhone X - when I open a video the close button (which is the only way to return back within the app) is half hidden in the top right corner, the close icon can not be used.
 
Videos have no audio on iPhone X viewing overseas.

I love getting RTÉ News from home but I’m always disappointed by just how clunky this app operates and now I can’t open without being told I must update it, which I did, but continue to get the same message to update no matter what I do.

I visit aRTE’s new site several times daily and most every day where I live in Perth City AU and also when I am abroad anywhere in the World. I have lived most of my life away from Ireland but it’s wonderful to stay connected with current events happening back in the old country.

But since the new update its pops up adverts when selecting a story. Before you read the article you must exit this ad page first.. It gets extremely annoying. If rte want to create an app for purchase so these ads won't appear anymore, that's fine, but that option is not there. I'm forced to delete because of this.
