I purchased the pro program thru the app. Then I clicked on the trip wizard icon in the phone app, to start building a trip, and it takes me immediately to a website asking me to buy it again. It will only let me use the trial unless I buy it again. It won’t let me use the trip wizard until the 7 days are up apparently.. So, no point in keeping this if I can’t use it until you are able to charge me. I’m canceling it now because I don’t need to buy it twice.
First time road tripper and tried this app out. What a life-saver. 100% recommend
We recently decided to use the gps feature to plan our days drive. Unfortunately it took us on the worst/bumpy 2hr drive we have been on. Also most of the drive was without cell service.Same trip with google alternate directions was much better.
I gave this one star because I can’t rate it a zero We used it for a trip from Billings Mt to the KOA at Mt Rushmore. Instead of taking us on I93 most of the time it took us through every little back road between the two places and then up a road that was under construction and closed at a certain point. We ended up doing a 2 hour detour to get to a place we could have gotten too way easier than it directed us. And yeas I entered in all the parameters to make sure we had a safe and reliable trip.

Hi, This is about version 4.2.4 running on iOS 17.4.1. There is no way, anymore, to paste an address into the search field. It is very annoying, please fix it.
While it’s great to be able to quickly grab the next destination from the trip wizard to navigate, I can’t rely solely on the RVLife GPS for directions. Too frequently it tells me to take an off ramp on I-15 in the middle nowhere, or it says turn left after exiting the highway, only to correct itself at the last second. If I hadn’t run a second GPS I would be in the wrong turn lane. Sometimes the RVLife GPS tells me to turn now into someone’s driveway, while the actual turn is in 200 yards. Also, I set the navigation to allow for changes in the route, RVL can be lost for 10 minutes. If I deviate from the route, it takes a way too long to recalculate the new route. If I force an alternate route on Trip Wizard, even though RVL GPS picks up the new alternate route on the map, it takes the original route and says to exit at the original route. My Co-Pilot SAT GPS has it’s own set of issues, which is why I actually have my wife run a third iMaps nav app to validate the route, on important turns I take 2 of 3 that agree as consensus.
Cant seem to add a stop once the trip is created, back and forth with customer service didnt help
Very confusing and overly complicated
Fir the most part, the app has been reliable. It did navigate me down an unsafe road once or twice. It would be nice to have live traffic with traffic alerts. I find I need to still have Google maps or Apple Maps up when using RV Life to see traffic, upcoming congestion, hazards and safety information. Please update to add traffic.
