Scam.

Been trying for over an hour and the app refuses to recognize my passport chip. Apparently doesn’t like US passports. Can’t wait to pay the €55 check in fee bc their app is a pos !

I purchased a flight from Malaga to Dublin via Bristol the night before my 11:15am flight. I went to bed and in the morning left for the airport. Upon checking in with the attendant, she charged me €30 for not checking in online and I had to pay an extra €90 for my under 20kg bag because according to her, I had purchased the priority booking and not the luggage. I told her that I did not see the email as I was sleeping but she insisted that I should have checked in 24hrs before my flight to avoid being penalised. Furthermore, I am certain that I paid for luggage as it mentioned hand luggage and checked-in bag under 20kg. The email I received mentions no details & it also doesn’t mention the €30 penalty even though she insisted that the information is in the email. I then went to their customer service department and was told that I should make a complaint online. Can someone please tell me what the point is of having a Customer Service office if you cannot sort things out then and there? This is totally unacceptable!! I am from Australia and have never flown with Ryanair and thus not accustomed to what is required. Even if I had read the email in the morning, the 24hrs would have been up in any case.

Totally unfriendly! Wouldn’t accept my Australian passport expiring date! Difficult complex impossible to retrieve baggage information until too late!
