## SafeSky Description
SafeSky is a real-time flight situation awareness for all pilots flying any type of aircraft. 

This app is using your location in background mode so that your position can be shared with other pilots of the SafeSky network while in the air.

Whether we pilot a paraglider, airplane, hot-air balloon, ultralight aircraft, … through SafeSky we contribute to the safety of all by sharing our position in the sky anonymously.
The application works both on the plains and in the mountains using the internet network in flight. SafeSky is greatly efficient in high-density areas such as aerodromes or certain traffic crossings and convergence points.
By becoming a member of the SafeSky community, let's share our passion and contribute together to a safer sky!

I think this is a bug that should be fixed.
If the app is closed and not even running, why does it still keep using the location and drains the battery?
It shouldn’t use location in the background at all unless we are in “takeoff” mode, let alone if it’s not even running.

SafeSky is generally a great idea but the reliability of the app is lackluster. On iOS 17.1.1 the app is completely unusable as it is stuck on the main screen after start. Force close or re-install have changed nothing. As a paid subscriber this is quite disappointing.

### *---- "Hängt sich auf beim iPad mini"
Habe ein iPad 2 mini / iOS 14 auf dem SkyDemon läuft. Die App startet nicht (weisser Bildschirm) und bleibt hängen. An sich eine gute Idee, auf iPhone funktioniert sie, aber so ist sie zu wenig zuverlässig und funktional, da ich mit dem iPad navigiere.
