Samsung Smart Washer

Why, why dose this not work, I mean I have added heaps of other devices to apps before, this app is useless and doesn’t work!!

This has never actually connected, I don't think it's possible and if you do it doesn't offer any functionality. If this was a small company you'd call it a fraud but I can't understand why Samsung would create something so awfully broken. NOTHING SMART HERE

I would expect a tech company like Samsung would be able to write a working, useable application but I guess not.

Has never worked once with my washer. To use it, you also have to enable a mode on the washer which locks the controls on the and door on the washer, meaning you can only control it from your mobile device whilst in this mode. For this era of tech, I should be able to remotely connect in from anywhere to check the status of the current wash.

Rubbish app. Machine will only connect on 2.4Ghz. Great idea but totally inoperable. User manual also completely inadequate.

The app only gives you a subset of the cycle types available on the machine. It doesn't even allow a wash/dry cycle. It also requires you to press a smart control button on the machine before use which then turns off after one cycle (so you can't do a wash them a dry for instance). No ability to monitor the wash if you haven't pressed the button either. Could have been a good app - instead it's just useless.
