ScanBizCards app users can also scan the ScanBizCards share code using the default camera app on their device and save it as a contact within the app. If a user does not currently have the ScanBizCards installed and scans the ScanBizCards share code, they are navigated to a webpage on their iPhone/iPad’s browser and can download contact info as a .vcf file and store it on their native address book.

Scanning a traditional card the program is exceptionally accurate. When you have funky cards it can be a bit less so. But a great app. The trick is having or using a phone that has a good camera. That is the real difference. So two thumbs up!

I've used a number of similar applications over the years, starting with a little mobile scanner that you had to plug into your computer (some 10 years back) which I loved and used a lot.

On my first iPhone (3GS), I am quite happy that ScanBizCards provides the same functionality at a reasonable price. The app works just like the original little scanner I had, and if anything even more accurate.

Yes, there are still some bugs, but they are minor. Example, the app shuts down unexpectedly (without any data loss, so thats no biggie). Every now and then it fails to detect direction (easily fixed by taking a new pic). On the plus side, I love the 3D view which works like my original PC app and the fact that I can add the cards to folders as I wish (something lacking on the iPhone in general).

Recognises business detail on cards from the USA, UK, Austria, Germany, Australia, South Africa (these are the ones I scanned personally to date) with 85% plus accuracy. (better than my PC app)

As a whole, it works very well and I would recommend it.
