Ok, yes it works as they said it works. 
Problem is you paid 4$ for a free account that let’s you only do 10 recodings, then after if you want to keep recording you need a subscription. So in short it’s a subscription app that you pay for downloading. Very very bad and dishonest.

This is a VERY simple app, and it seems to only work on VERY simple music.  It does pretty much what I bought it for.  I sing into the microphone on my iPad, and the software converts the notes I sing, into sheet music, and plays back the composition on one of several virtual musical instruments.  One human voice can only sing one note at a time, so if you don’t sing the note exactly in tune, the app will record your incorrect note.  I use it to compose melodies.  I don’t sing words as lyrics, I sing a repetitive sound, like doe, rae, or me.  So I sing the different notes of my melody as: doe doe doe doe doe doe, pronouncing each “doe” clearly, and at the same volume. I don’t even try to sing the notes in the “correct” rhythm - the app records the rhythm you sing.  I suppose if you could sing notes in the exact rhythm you intend for the finished composition, the app would print the notes in the correct rhythm.  After you’re finished singing your notes, and the app finishes converting it into sheet music, you can use your finger to drag any note up or down on your iPad screen.  So if you want a B# to be a C#, you just drag it up.  The app is so simple it only takes 2 minutes to figure it out.

Unfortunately I have about the same review as the others. For $4, I figured I'd chance it, & I'm not sorry, because the idea is a great one. However this app does add more notes than "played" or "sung" or "la-la'ed"??? Tried all of that, & notes appeared from nowhere. It's only slightly more convenient than writing the notes down long-handed, but not as accurate. Hope the app gets improved soon? Eventually? Apparently there IS a great app that DOES do what we're all looking for, but it costs about $100??? Guess we all got what we paid for? Nice try...

I tried it out thinking it would help with writing music especially sine my friend and I will be writing a song together soon and I thought it would be perfect but it doesn’t work AT ALL it doesn’t pick up ANY notes played together at all the pitch SUCKS timing is horrible and just over all NOT WORTH IT it’s really disappointing how it doesn’t work hopefully it just needs a big update then it would work but rn it doesn’t and apparently it hasn’t worked for years so... anyway I want my money back for sure

It crashes when opened. iOS 10 support isn't a thing I guess. The license agreement says no refunds, but this doesn't work, so say HELLO to Apple @ devs. 

I don't recommend it to anyone. My pet rock does more than this app.
