Like everything scotrail It just doesn’t work.
Paid for a ticket now the app crashes every time I click on it.

The release made me wonder if there was the QA team involved in the development process at all, or if their feedback was taken into consideration. The design is better than the old one but overall, it wasn’t a smooth release. Just last week the app was counting a return ticket x2 the single’s price, it keeps forgetting that you have a railcard (previous app didn’t), and also it’s inconvenient that you can’t scroll up to earlier/down to later trains when you’ve already selected the time - could do that before. I’m sure with all the minor improvements it will get better over time. 
And cheers to ScotRail workers who have to endure the wonders of this transitional period for remaining so calm and understanding every time something goes wrong.

App continues to crash just when you need it. Also constantly signs you out and you have to sign in again to retrieve tickets just when inspector asks you for tickets. Old app was so much better

I’ve now got used to the changes but the app is an improvement to the previous version. Does it need further polishing? Sure. Does it deserve the current star rating? Not at all! I have a full control over the buying process, I get the tickets and can get on a train. Teething challenges should not be confused with a genuinely bad app! This is a good app that needs some minor tweaking and improvements to be 5*.

This app is ridiculously poor. I’m stuck on a loop trying to log in. Reset password >3 times and still can’t get signed in. This is a downgrade from previous version

The ticket booking system attempted to charge me double the price for a return ticket than the ticket used to cost? It’s registering the return as a separate ticket. Awful. What was even the point of changing to a completely different app? I highly doubt anyone was begging them to switch apps.
