I like how it makes me pause and re-consider before opening my distracting apps. It helps to give me back control of how I spend my time so I can form better habits.

The app utilize the ScreenTime api in a very intuitive way.

It prompts you before you open the app and allows you to think about why you are opening the app

i started using this only today and blocked tiktok and instagram. my screentime went from ~3h everyday to just 1 hour! prevented me from doomscrolling and wasting a few hours away, and allowed me to be more productive with my time. my day feels longer and i am much happier :) 10/10 would recommend, download it now!!!!

This app is a brilliant app, and not only was it effective in me with cutting down screen time, it is also one of the best apps out there that do so. Firstly, it provides many settings (and some of it you don't see in other similar apps for free!) for you customise it to your preference. I especially really liked the feature where I could make the intervention time longer the more times I've opened it, it's effective in making me cut down on screen time. Furthermore, this app is not just effective and creative in its ways, it's also incredibly well designed! I like how everything's put together. It's clear they made an effort in that as well. Lastly, the best part about all this is that it's absolutely free with no ads! That alone, with just basic functions would make an app better than most others for me, but taking into account just how well made it is, I must give it five stars. Well done! I love this app. 10/10 would recommend you download this as well.

love this app! has really helped with my digital detox!

for example I set a restriction on YouTube.com to only be opened 3 times a day for one hour each time, with a cool down on each open being 10 seconds, ScreenZen bugs the cool down screen and it crashes, it then locks me out of YouTube for some reason… idk why
