Seaquence is a beautiful and lush sounding synthesizer with vast potential for creativity and exploration.

Its uniquely designed interface allows you to create music with swimming creatures in a stereo mixing dish. Multiple voices are heard simultaneously, resulting in layered, dynamic compositions. Seaquence's wide sonic template allows you to create everything from ambient drones to intricately layered rhythms and transients. 

With its playful and colorful interface, even composers who are brand new to music will be able to unlock their synesthetic creativity. You can save your sessions, post and share them, and explore the Seaquence Galaxy to listen what others have shared and get inspired!

When I tried Seaquence the first time it crashed every time I tried to run it and was unusable. I left a review of my experience and the developer was quick to update and fix the issue! Now it runs great on my M2 iPad! It’s a very cute app and I think people who enjoy manually programming  music will enjoy it. The demos are relaxing with charming visuals and help showcase how robust the app is. It is definitely worth downloading and experiencing for yourself. It might be the perfect thing for you.

What good is the Midi when DAWs like AUM does not recognize Seaquence. Anyway, it’s ‘almost’ a complete instrument. What is there is a lot of ‘sound’ fun with Seaquence synth. I wish that you could zoom in/out for the larger Creature populations. This really needs to be a Audio Unit to be used properly. Easy to use. Manual actually in the app (and a PDF version for download) would aid device ‘mobility’. I ‘especially’ like that the developer had the the insight to give Seaquence it’s own master volume control separate from the device’s! Performs solidly in background allowing using other apps while listening. Some of these sound patterns/textures are sick! lol

Needs some things.
It needs to be able to make the voices play music after a certain amount of time that you can set up. Or play a certain amount of times when it reaches a certain time of day. Maybe even a thing where it can be random like if I set it up to play 3 times every 30-60 seconds. That would be cool. Also there needs to be an option where the voices wander around or at least set up a path for them. I would like to make them go where I want them to. I have paid 10 dollars for premium and I still wasn’t able to do any of those things.

I know that hard work and effort was put into this game, but I think forcing someone to pay $6.99 just so they can do simple actions such as make their melodies longer or increase and decrease the pitch is quite outrageous. This makes completely no sense for a music application of all things, especially considering the fact that I can do the exact same stuff that you put behind this dumb paywall on other programs for free. In fact, there are many games that have much more content than this, and you don’t have to spend a dime. Pretty high price for an experimental game you might get bored of after awhile.

I’ve had this app for over a year or two now. I love figuring out new things and new ways to make music. My friends love this app. It was recommended to me by a friend who doesn’t get to play as much as they would like because it’s only on IOS. Every time I’m on a plane I will always pull out the app and make some music. It calms me down and really gets me to use my imagination. It’s an amazing app and I recommend it to people who love making music and want it to be simple. I haven’t gotten the premium but that’s ok because you can still do a lot with it without premium. The only thing I would add is for this app to work on android. Thank you for keeping this app up to date and it would be very sad if the developers stopped updating it. Don’t stop keeping this app great. Thank you! :3
