## SecureAuth Authenticate Description
SecureAuth Authenticate is a modern mobile app that verifies your identity so you can securely access your apps. SecureAuth Authenticate supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for personal, work, or school apps and accounts. The authenticator generates 6-digit one-time passcodes/tokens (OTP codes) used commonly in two-factor authentication (2FA) flows.

Secure your personal accounts from account takeover with 2-step verification. SecureAuth Authenticate lets you protect your personal Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, Dropbox, and thousands of other cloud apps.

SecureAuth Authenticate for business use
SecureAuth Authenticate provides additional strong authentication benefits when paired with SecureAuth IDaaS in corporate deployments. The app is designed to work with adaptive and passwordless authentication for cloud/SaaS and on-prem app single sign-on (SSO) scenarios.

This auto updated over the weekend. I like that now the passcode number is turn red when a few seconds are remaining.

What I absolutely can’t stand is that in the old version, passcodes were grouped into group into three or four numbers. Easy to look at, easy to remember, easy to type.

Now it’s one giant eight digit or six digit number. I have to think to read and copy and it makes me crazy. And I have to use this a dozen times each day. 

Also, the font has changed. It’s difficult to read. Something more blocky or numeric would be really useful. Or perhaps having the option to change that ourselves.

Before secureauth decided to revamp their whole UI the watch app was…unreliable…but when the numbers were there you could be sure that they’d work. Now, with updated UI and amazing “improvements” the watch app decides to pick a set of numbers and never change. Those numbers will work at one point, but then never update ever again!

This app is hot garbage. It never functions properly and I’m constantly getting locked out. It does not communicate between my computer and my phone no matter how many times I try deleting and re-downloading the app. I’ve brought it up to IT as well and after about an hour of troubleshooting, it gets fixed for approximately one day. Then it’s back to the same stuff the next. This is quite possibly the worst authentication app I’ve ever seen or used in my life. I do not recommend.

It hasn’t worked for a year or more.  It won’t even open, always crashed on open.  I don’t erase it and reload it because I don’t want to have to recreate the relationships it gives me codes for even though I can’t use them and created them on other authentication apps.  I went to the website for support and there doesn’t seem to be any end user support.  I’m not a “customer” I’m their end user.  It seems support is for the corporations who use the app, not those corporations customers.  Whats the point of a non working app that doesn’t upgrade to fix bugs or offer free support???
