Also I miss having the habits to select from and once I creat a habit it should store in my personal data base so I don’t have to create the habit each time I use it. New updates killed that functionality. Someone else mentioned in a review that the free trial charged them immediately. The same thing happened to me. I didn’t request a refund from Apple because I assumed I somehow messed something up. But seeing someone else report the same issue made me think to report mine for anyone else who may have this issue in the future. I’ve done trials before but never had this issue occur with any other app so not sure what happened with this one. The app has a nice UI, but it does lag behind some of the other prominent apps in the saturated habit/routine app space. If the dev studies their competitors’ premium feature sets, I’m confident they will get the app up to par… they clearly have the talent to do so. Also, I recommend removing the share requirement to unlock H2O tracking. It’s a perfectly reasonable request for non-premium users, but lame to have a requirement for premium users. Lastly, I commend this developer for offering a single payment IAP for lifetime premium as an alternative to a perpetual subscription. With the growing distaste for ‘forever’ subscriptions, the lifetime premium option stands out. The latest update has caused so many issues. Wish it had the option to go back to an older version. 1. It’s now so wide I can’t see the edges of the app so words are cut off. 2. When I view my tasks, it only shows the 1st one…MULTIPLE TIMES (Ex: For one day of the week, I have my whole day laid out in specific steps so if it’s 61 for the day, only the 1st one will show…61 TIMES! :-( 3. Can’t reorder any steps/tasks because it’s only showing the 1st one multiple times. The others still exist (they will happen if I actually start the app), but I can’t see the rest to edit them. Likes: 1) It tells me what task is coming next which is great for smooth transitions. 2) It didn’t lose my data during the update so at least that’s a plus. (I want to uninstall it and reinstall to see if that would fix but afraid I will lose 5 yrs of great routines I’ve created for work, certain days of the week, certain occasions like when school is in session, etc). Note for developers: Please don’t “fix” things that were never broken. -- Newbie birdie, 2024-07-01 ### *---- "update messed everything up" 6/20/24: i am responding again to the developer. the app offered a 7-day free trial for the premium version. i couldn’t use the routines i'd built, there was no customer support available, so i chose the free trial to test if it’d give me access to my routines. instead, i was charged immediately, and then found that the routines were a mess and the functionality is not the same. suffice to say that the premium version was not worth it and i wouldn’t have opted into it had i actually been given the free trial. update, 6/17/24: i decided to lower my rating to one star after receiving the response from the developer because their “app support” doesn’t work and there’s no way for me to follow up with them privately 1. the app charged me and the developer didn’t offer to correct it 2. my routine is messed up right now, and the developer didn’t off to correct it asap (this is the same for at least one other customer) 3. the app had a massive update that completely changed the look and function without warning users, like me, who rely on it for day-to-day needs. original review, dated 6/14/24: i’ve been using this app on and off for the last two years, but pretty religiously for the past 3-4 months. i like the simplicity of it, i appreciate that i can build my own routines, and that i can move through each step in sequential order, or choose to check them off on my own. the app just updated and it’s a mess. it’s glitchy. i had to subscribe for a free trial in order to open my daily routine. instead of giving me the free trial, i was charged for the yearly subscription. when i tried to start my routine, the app wouldn’t let me check or cross of stuff that i had already done. then it replicated one task, “make the bed”, all my other tasks or steps have been lost. also: i don’t want notifications to drink water—if i did, i would put that in my routine. please fix asap -- jessisalwaystaken, 2024-06-20 ### ***-- "Used to love it" I used to love this product, but the recent update for the new iPhone version has been extremely disappointing.
