I have to take my dog with me on occasions and need to know where to park and position sun shades. This app is so useful. Leads me to the right spot to park etc. Still use common sense but it’s very very helpful.

This is a really cool idea and the app functions well, however it doesn’t include shadows cast by mountains which is a shame. I’m sure it must be possible using topographical maps. 

If you’re using it out of the mountains it’s great.

I used shadowmap on my road trip in my van to find the best sunset and sunrise spots every day. We also run a glamping business and we used shadowmap to decide where to set up the tents so that they would have the perfect location in terms of not getting too hot in summer but still being able to enjoy BBQ in the golden light of sunset. I’m finding new ways how shadowmap can help me all the time. Looking for a new house, we are checking every potential candidate on shadowmap for the ideal lighting. Amazing tool that so far worked on every location I tried it. 5 stars!!
