I use this dictionary daily. It works offline. Intuitive. It even has several flash card modes aimed at the different JLPT levels. Can not recommend this app enough to my Japanese-studying friends and to my Japanese friends studying English.

Fantastic dictionary with excellent explanations and tons of phrases, examples, and uses. The app is also easy to use and well-designed. I use this almost every day for my Japanese language studies.

I love this dictionary. For entry level study is very useful, especially on feature like all conjugation written clearly (I guess this became less important as you learn better japanese). But most of all, the kanji investigation, from scribble to dictionary, is life saviour
