Practice shooting in the comfort of your own home, anytime and as often as you like. Our laser targets and RedShot laser cartridges, or a SIRT training pistol from NextLevel Training, make it possible to do just that
LASER TARGETS
Imagine having laser targets that simulate steel plates, poppers, and silhouettes. Targets that show your hits as you shoot, and clang with the gratifying sound of 9mm striking steel. Targets that wirelessly send your hits to the Shooter Make Ready app on your smartphone or tablet so you can actually see and evaluate your speed and accuracy.
You can keep it simple with one or two laser targets a short distance away. As your skills improve, add more targets and mix up the course of fire for more challenging scenarios. Up to eight laser targets can be arranged anywhere within a 50 foot radius, in the same room or throughout a building, for full 360 degree training scenarios not possible with camera and video based systems. A built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 36 continuous hours on a single charge, and will fully recharge in under 2 hours using a Mini-USB cable and charge adapter.
REDSHOT LASER CARTRIDGE
Our RedShot laser cartridges feature a bright red laser housed in a high quality brass casing with an activation pad designed to absorb the impact of the firing/striker pin for safe, dependable operation in your firearm. The cartridge is rimless so it isn’t ejected during normal use.
The laser has a wavelength of 635 nm which is designed specifically for consistent, reliable operation with the widest range of dry fire target systems that use visible red light, including our Shooter Make Ready laser targets.
SHOOTER MAKE READY APP
The Shooter Make Ready app automatically connects to up to eight laser targets. Choose a Course Of Fire (COF) from five available in the app: Steel Training, Saturday Steel, React, Practical Shooting, and Friend Or Foe. Each COF is designed to help you develop specific skills to hone your speed, accuracy, and decision making.
Range Officer commands can be enabled to direct the start of the Course Of Fire: “Are you ready?” “Standby!” followed by a 300ms start signal “Beeeep!”. Press the Start button on the Shot Timer screen and begin shooting at the start signal. Even a par time stop signal can be configured for time-limited shot strings.
A Shot Timer view captures and displays target hits, cumulative times, split times, and overall scoring for each Course Of Fire. A Targets view shows target hit locations and features a sight picture visualization tool and shot correction chart overlays for analyzing shot groups.
WHAT IS DRY FIRE PRACTICE?
Dry fire practice is the activity of practicing firearm handling skills for training purposes, without the use of live ammunition. It is widely recognized by shooting enthusiasts, shooting competitors, law enforcement and military trainers, and firearm instructors as an extremely effective means for learning and improving firearm handling skills.
Dry fire practice develops muscle memory through repetition, allowing the shooter to learn how to act and react safely, rapidly and instinctively while manipulating a firearm. It is proven to be extremely effective for developing and honing skills such as proper grip, stance, draw, presentation, ready position, target acquisition, natural point of aim, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, follow through, reloading, target discrimination, and movement and cover.
Many firearm trainers suggest that dry fire practice should constitute 70-80 percent of your overall firearm training. The usual recommendation is to train for about 20 minutes 3-5 days a week, but practicing just 15 minutes twice a week will still greatly improve your shooting skills and build your confidence.

Great training tool

I have owned the Shooter Make Ready targets for about 3 years now. I have 4 of them and use them mostly in the friend/foe mode for decision making under stress. GREAT TOOL FOR THAT. The only reason I did not give it a 5 start is there is no way to capture your data to measure improvements over time or to compare scenarios. Just making the data accessible/saveable even in .csv would be 5 star!

Excellent product

So I received the targets the other day and found it to be a super quick setup. I have a SIRT 110 pistol and this is the best way to dry fire. I have used LASRX app before and it’s such a pain, with setting up your phone on a tripod, etc. With the targets, it connects easily and it’s fun to shoot the targets. It’s also amazing in that I’m able to set up the targets in multiple places, with some behind me. The only issue I have is the app could be greatly improved. The setup of the app looks a few years old and there are some bugs in it, but minus those, the setup works great!

Dry-fire practice more fun

Most importantly, as noted in the description, this app only works with their targets. My impressions of the app after a month: o Definitely makes dry-fire training more fun, and thus, more likely to happen. o Excellent concept, very useful dry fire training, for speed and accuracy. o There is some room for some usability improvements and a few bugs to be ironed out. o Great battery life on the targets. I’m looking forward to seeing the app get even better! Other notable points: Their post-sales support is top notch. I have experienced some unusual issues, and they have been great at working through them with me. I would like to see the app included with the purchase of one of the fairly pricey targets, since they require each other. As noted on their website, the targets do not work with all laser cartridges. (e. g. My iTarget laser cartridge is known to *not* work well for these). Verify specs before purchasing. They recommend the SIRT pistol which is great, albeit a bit pricey also. If you go that route, they also recommend that you purchase a “OneShot” laser module modification from them, otherwise, you will likely get double hits on the target.
