## ShoppingList Description
ShoppingList is the first and one of the most used shopping list apps for the iPhone.

With ShoppingList you have your shopping list on your iPhone or iPod touch.

So you can benefit of a multiplicity of advantages:
• simply add, remove and rearrange the individual entries
• group products by category
• add amount (also nonstandard measurements)
• add prices (ShoppingList automatically calculates the sum)
• have as many lists as you want
• comfortably choose from your recent and frequently used products
• Dropbox sync: Lists are automatically synchronized between devices
• Barcode scanner: products can be easily entered by scanning their barcode

Used this for years, have been very happy with it, very user-friendly. But just updated to IOS 14.6 on my iPhone 12, and now nothing works, keys not responding to inputs.

Randomly chooses a different product from the one you want to choose in the drop down list which appears as soon at you start typing the first few letters of the product you’re looking for. Used the app for years and have been very happy with it.

### **--- "Used to be good, don’t recommend now"
I have used this app since it came out many years ago and bar Dropbox interaction (buggy), I haven’t had any issues with it until this year. It has lots of bugs that randomly treble your ingredients or delete them or the app just crashes mid shop. I have passed on these bugs to the developer who promised a fix within a week (that was months ago now). Not fixed, and I’m sick of my list disappearing. I have avoided changing apps because I’ve built up a significant inventory but I think starting again with a new app is better than what’s left of this app.

I’ve been using this app since it first came out. Everything’s pretty intuitive, the display is clear and being able to categorise items makes shopping by aisle a doddle. You can even allocate an item to a particular store which is useful.
Just hope the developer keeps on updating the app. I see iPad functionality isn’t now supported and the release notes refer to iOS10 - whereas iOS13 is the current iteration.

I have used this app for a long time, and it was the best I had found. Recently it has not been working well as it has lost most of the photos and duplicating items in the product list. It sometimes does not allow you to scroll to the bottom of the screen. 
I have the iPhone X. Please fix these issues soon, or I will have to find another shopping app.

I’ve been using this for a while now and it works well (I use the categories field to store the best shop to get each item from - I’ve never understood why these apps let you categorise carrots as vegetables; I think we all know that!).

One useful feature would be to attach a photo to any individual item (e.g. wine bottle labels etc). Could this be added please?

I tried many shopping list apps but settled on this one because it was kept simple and easy to customise. Love that I can add my own items and categories, that's pretty much all I want from a shopping app! This updated version looks sleeker than the last app but there are still some niggles. For example, on the lists screen the default shopping list goes up behind the blue header bar so you can't select it, even if you pull the lists down - so created my own list that I can access from the Lists screen. Not sure why you have to use Dropbox to sync lists, other apps seem to seamlessly update on all devices (but for the price of the app I'm not going to complain too much). Best thing about this update seems to be the ability to actually delete items from the main database (swipe left on the item).

You really should have made sure that old data will import from the old app seamlessly. Dropbox syncing doesn't work. Sort it out. I've deleted the old version and I've lost all the products I've put in there over YEARS OF USE. IDIOTS!!!!

This app is great, I use it all the time. One frustration I find is that the list can get very long. Simple suggestion to make the categories collapsible would, for me, give it 5 stars because then it would be perfect :o)

Used to be clunky but useable. Now much better, cleaner design but NOW SHOWS ADS (full screen) every time app is opened from the lock screen - ie while out shopping I have to close around 10-15 ads to see my list during a shopping trip. I don't like the sudden addition of ads but would pay to get rid of them, problem is there is no option to remove ads. I'll be looking for a new shopping list app.

I used to love this app. Had it on my iPhone - which I take shopping - and also on my iPad. I could use the iPad to add and remove lists, using the bigger keyboard, and the updates list would AUTOMATICALLY sync via Dropbox with my phone. 
After the latest update, this no longer works and I have to email it to myself and then restore it to the phone.
Unless this changes soon I will no longer be using this and will use another listing app for my shopping.
