It’s a really good messaging app and way better then Apple message

Excellent program. Please continue to spread acquired knowledge, maintain a comprehensive warrant disclosure log (your fully complete disclosures well illustrate patterns of vexatious behaviour and intimidation and their many weaknesses) and keep making life difficult for the usual trouble makers. This app is well worth celebriting 😉

It’s really annoying when I create a group , post a piece of information like an invite, then realise I missed adding someone to the group and need to repost the invite (and other comments) to the group. Why can’t the new adds be able to see the original invite and comments prior to their add. Surely if the group is only .. a week … old, they should be able to see, or, the admin be able to give them access to view previous comments.

Great app I love it, but if it had the ability to be logged into multiple phones with the same account that would be even better!

Because it couldn’t cope with international numbers it locked itself into a verification cycle that was just the circle of death. Unusable.

App is great, however one aspect keeps bothering me. Disappearing messages is a great feature, however it doesn’t delete call history. After all messages are deleted there are a bunch of calls in the chat which have to be deleted manually every time to preserve privacy. Can you please add a feature for them to be deleted as well after some time, or not to save them at all. Thanks

In a world where personal information seems to be up for grabs, Signal sends positive…well, signals. Oh, and their release notes are top notch.

Unlike Whatsapp, Signal has not yet sold your personal data to Facebook (Meta). My main reason for convincing all peers to drop Whatsapp in favour of Signal.

Not sure how they can claim to be private when the app contacts Google, Amazon, reddit and Pinterest servers. Seems like metadata is being collected. Does that include location?

There are a lot of secure apps for messaging with similar levels of security and functionality. They don’t need pin verification on the app every couple of days despite saying it will be every couple of weeks. It’s annoying enough to rate this app as a one star app. I only use it for the company I work for. Given an alternative I’d delete this, unless they rework the authentication process with say facial Id, as a hidden process.
