I was randomly assigned a coach from the totally different country that I have no interest in working with but there’s no way to delete it. He sends me unsolicited messages all the time and when opening the app it appears under active lessons. I was looking to pay for a more expensive coach located in the same country as me but instead I’m deleting this app and not even bothering to try now.
Thanks Graham, this helps me loads. Sometimes I feel like I am doing everything right without the outcome I expect. So much fine tuning needed from a good eye!
If you are looking to take lessons remotely with a coach Skillest has the most coaches.
It seemed like a good coaching platform. I discovered in person lessons are a better for me. I canceled after one month. I accidentally canceled my membership the day after it renewed. I asked my coach for a refund since I wouldn’t be using the lesson. He declined to give me a refund but instead lectured me about the importance of keeping track of my bills. Got charged an extra $110 for nothing.
Bought a lesson a week ago and haven’t heard a word from the coach. Reached out to Skillest and they took 3 days to get back to me. The app says it usually takes 48 hours for a lesson to get done. I asked for a refund and no one answered me. Don’t waste your time
The recent update to move the videos into the “chat” is a major downgrade. It used to be simple to find what I need in the “my lessons” section. It also allowed comments between me and my coach that were specific to that lesson. Now it’s all together in one disorganized chat that also includes my coach’s broadcasts to all his followers. Who thought this was a good idea?

The app is very user friendly and easy to navigate, I’ve only done one swing analysis but wow what an eye opener! Soo much detail in my swing I thought I “figured” out or was doing it the correct way after bazillion hours on YouTube and self critique. If you’re on the fence about starting lessons, swallow your pride and just do it! You’ll learn soo much about your swing you didn’t know before and how everything is connected (certain movements causes/encourages other swing faults and bad habits. Excited for this journey!
Loving my experience so far, Jayson is great and being able to work by video is such a convenient thing!
