I’ve stopped using Skip unless absolutely necessary. Orders often are delayed due to multiple delivery stops. This has resulted in food poisoning twice now with the food arriving barely warm and re-heating. Also no Paypal option like others have.

Had good experiences with using Skip until recently. Last couple times it’s obvious the drivers are running multiple apps- ie my food gets driven all over town for nearly an hour when it’s only supposed to take eight minutes. Drivers will also “park” my delivery in a random parking lot for 45 minutes so it won’t appear that they’re doing it. Complaining to Skip got me a $5 credit, which doesn’t even half cover the tip I offered up to the drivers.

Just use DoorDash. I’ve never had a problem with DoorDash but I’ve gotten the wrong order every single time for skip. My breaking point was when I received the wrong order (didn’t even have the right name or phone number on the order) and was denied a refund. Deleted the app right after. Never using this again.

They’re quick to take your money, but take 10 business days to return it when the store cancels an order. Absolutely ridiculous in this day and age. Amazon can manage same day within hours, same with Instacart and DD, but not skip. Adios.

Okay so basically I made an order and the driver took a picture of the delivery and it wasn’t my house. I go to the customer service chat feature for missing items because there’s no real phone number to call if you need help and got told that due to the number of reimbursements they have provided to me in the past that they would be unable to provide any reimbursements for this order. For context, they had in the past given me wrong orders or had missing items in orders I had placed. However, they made it sound like I’m trying to scam a food delivery app like I don’t have anything better to do. I was talking to Cristina I and she was dismissive and all I wanted was for her to get a hold of the driver so he could at least tell me where he delivered the food to so I can go get it or if he can grab it and bring it to me. She left the chat without any solution. She didn’t even let me know if she was able to get a hold of the driver. The next day, I tried to contact customer service because I was still very upset and was dismissed again but this time by Aaron B. Essentially, I am out $50, driver got a tip for bringing the order to a house that wasn’t mine, and I didn’t get any food. I have now since deleted my account and switched to Uber Eats. Do better, Skip.

TLDR: Skip refused to help me with my missing order or offer any type of reimbursement. Their customer service is horrendous. Get Uber Eats instead :)

I really like that it allows use for my Interac Debit card on the app, the other delivery apps don’t have that, as the others prefer credit cards. The only thing they need to work on is the live updates, it would show up on the Dynamic Island and the Lock Screen but not all the time, which needs to be fixed when it’s turned on

For the last five or so times i’ve ordered here, from multiple different restaurants. The food was different than from what I’d ordered. I’d go and check the receipt and mysteriously the order was different from what i had initially selected, like it had been changed after the order was placed. The first 3 times I had thought id made a mistake, and selected the wrong thing but didn’t notice. But after 5 or so times Ive noticed an obvious scheme of most likely the restaurant changing the order or a glitch in the system causing orders to come out different. I of course have no proof of this as who takes a picture of their order right after it’s placed or just before? When I have tried getting help on this issue and others, the chat support service is awful, 90% ai, and impossible to navigate. There is no way to return to the same chat when you look for the order receipt or details making you start all over again. And there multiple times where messages don’t send correctly or at all forcing you to start all over. The vast majority of the time you only interact with an ai who cannot help the issue and ive been ghost more than once by a supposed customer support person. This issue seems to only be getting worse and there are no other ways to contact support and obviously not enough real employees in that department. Another issue in my area is that drivers will not take your orders unless you tip them an arm and a leg to drive 5 minutes. Which causes the food to be cold and waiting in the restaurant for over an hour to close to two at one point and me to have to make another awful interaction with their support team. It seems they don’t want to deal with their issues and just give refunds all the time but never anything to compensate for the lost time waiting or dealing with the issue that could have been spent cooking or ordering on another service. Often times I’ve ordered for a group of people expecting supper in their estimation period and having to wait a whole 30 mins or longer than expected.

Had to wait over 10 minutes to be told I wouldn’t get a refund on items that were missing - just because I had to ask for a refund on my last order because that was also messed up. (Didn’t even ask for a full refund - just on the items missing) Terrible customer service and horrible app. Do not use Skip the Dishes.
