App used to work great, but this year some things have changed. The map disappears at certain zoom levels. Routing sometimes randomly fails, or won’t let me select a starting point. From time to time app crashes mid route, or fails to register that the boat has moved.

Skippo is perhaps the pushiest, most annoying app I’ve tried for some time. The flows upselling you on additionally functionality break the app when using the freemium product. Some gated features are clearly marked, others aren’t. You’re asked to give the same information twice: before and after creating a user. It’s all just super sloppy and extractive.

How do I enable dark mode? Devs just got back to me with an answer, and there is a way under the map settings. I give the app 4/5 due to the UI, mostly the setting being a little cumbersome to navigate. But overall a great app, and I can sync my routes to my Raymarine Axium chart plotter!
