Instructions given on app aren’t accurate so no simple way to cancel auto-renewal

This company only lets one person view at a time. You pay alot of money for an annual subscription, but can only watch it on one tv at a time. Not only that, but it is full of tv ads. Quite a shocking and greedy experience.

Why is such a bad picture quality acceptable to the Sky people? I’m sure it’s not acceptable to any of their customers with eyes that work.

I paid for the Olympic package. I am still being shown stupid Maccers ads! Also, I cannot watch full events that I missed because they were on at 3 AM, only 10 minute highlights. Very bad service!

This app is by far the worst streaming service ever. Absolutely zero effort into making it an acceptable user experience for those trying to cast it via Chromecast. Cannot change volume, always disconnecting, cannot fast forward, always crashing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Not well designed from the big things to the small. One example - 3 clicks to get to a live tv show, with all options having “live” in the title, and then the default option is “watch from start”. Are you serious? Please look into a Design Thinking model where you interact with your customer base to understand how a general user navigates your systems. It’s buggy, it’s hard to navigate, your tv guide is slow and clunky, none of it is good. I have the latest devices, the fastest NZ internet speeds. There is currently a full failure of the app (known to your team), and there is no update or information available online as to why, or an expected resolution time. Your poor staff then have to field all of the questions about why, and what you are doing about it, with no info at their end either! No wonder Sky is on its way out.

Every first 5mins of viewing is pixilated hell. They still haven’t got caching sorted when watching. This means about 5mins of watching incredibly pixelated and blotchy coverage before it finally clicks into a decent image. Never had any issues on any other media platform so it’s just Sky being rubbish again. We have 900Mb down and 500Mb up on fibre with Ethernet so nothing to do with our internet. Look into ramping up LODs Sky and general caching overview. You have the money so improve your tech!

Subscribed to watch the Olympics because there’s no other choice. The app is poorly designed, laggy, and with a cluttered, confusing interface. Programs are jammed with advertising despite a sub costing $50 month and you can’t watch replays of anything more than 48 hours old, unless it’s in one of the short and crappy highlights reels. Also, getting multiple ‘content not available’ faults when you do try to watch a replay from the guide. Will be cancelling my sub and deleting this under-functioning rubbish as soon as the Games end.

Great coverage and editing. Takes a lot of trial and error to navigate the App.
