Great App
Love this App. Easy to navigate. Beautiful illustrations. Get it. You won’t be disappointed.
Not Woking
I have had this app for some time now and has been ok up until now but iso18 it will not track the phone movements at all tried uninstalling and then reinstall it but same problem
Widget
Was a great app until today when I updated to iOS/iPadOS 18.1.1, and I noticed the Today Widget had disappeared. This was a useful widget for upcoming events or sightings. Where has it gone, and will it be restored to both iPhone and iPad?
Not synced
This app used to be brilliant but it now no longer syncs. My mum has exactly the same issues, we are watching the ISS over the house but the app shows it being down in Europe! Not great
App location/calibration does not work meaning night sky orientation is inaccurate
I purchased the SkyView app years ago and found it very good. Sometime ago when trying to identify objects in the sky I found the automatic calibration not accurate and no matter how many times you manually correct the calibration, whenever you come out of the app it fails to remember the corrected location settings. I have followed the instructions to move my device in a figure of eight to help the app calibrate, it never accurately identifies my location. This app used to be very good, it’s now so poor that you cannot point and identify objects in the sky as you’ll be looking at something else. This has gone on for long enough (years), the developer needs to correct this issue. It’s so bad the app is know longer a pleasure to use. I have deleted the app and reloaded it several times, nothing works.
No comets included
Downloaded specifically to see Comet A3 as spiel said would include lots of space info - but is not included so a waste of money
Good but…
It would be great if you could select what you do/don’t want to see, for example… it makes me said seeing all the “trash” in space from rocket bodies! I wish I could unselect this so I can’t view it ☹️
Wow
I love seeing where planets are and stars this app has really helped me my favourite planet is Neptune and l can actually see where it is I love this app I mean it may make you pay a small price for the full version but it is worth it I love this app💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷💛💛💛💛💛
